About this deal

Epidemiological studies in human pregnancy have shown no ill effects due to paracetamol used in the recommended dosage. Starch, Croscarmellose Sodium, Sodium Lauril Sulfate, Magnesium Stearate, Sterilised Talc, Gelatin, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Patent Blue V (E131), Erythrosine (E127) Shellac and Quinoline yellow (E104).

Do not give to children under 16 years of age. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. If you not get better talk to a doctor.

Warnings
CONTAINS PARACETAMOL. Do not take anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine. Talk to a doctor at once if you take too much of this medicine, even if you feel well.
Consult your pharmacist or doctor before taking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not take if: allergic to any ingredient, if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, or you are taking or have taken MAOI's (antidepressants) within 14 days, if you are taking other sympathomimetic decongestants.

Do not take more than three doses of day capsules and one dose of night capsules in 24 hours (no more than eight capsules in total in 24 hours). The capsules should be swallowed whole with a drink. They can be taken either with or without food.

Anticoagulants: The anticoagulant effect of warfarin and other coumarins may be enhanced by prolonged regular daily use of paracetamol with increased risk of bleeding; occasional doses have no significant effect. Paracetamol is excreted in breast milk, but not in a clinically significant amount. Available published data do not contraindicate breastfeeding. Do not take this medicine continuously for longer than five days without getting medical advice. If your symptoms don't go away or get worse despite taking this medicine, ask your pharmacist for advice.If you're taking medicines for high blood pressure you shouldn't take Lemsip max day & night cold & flu relief, because the decongestant may make your blood pressure medicine less effective. Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (including moclobemide) (MAOIs): Hypertensive interactions occur between sympathomimetic amines such as phenylephrine and monoamine oxidase inhibitors (see section 4.3). Caffeine/metabolites are excreted in human milk, but at therapeutic doses of the product, no effects on the breastfed newborns/infants are anticipated. Other medicines. Some drugs may affect the way in which paracetamol works, including those used to treat blood cholesterol (cholestyramine) and nausea and vomiting (metoclopramide and domperidone). The effect of blood thinning drugs (warfarin and other coumarins) may be increased by paracetamol. Some drugs may affect the way in which phenylephrine works (digoxin and Lemsip Max Day & Night Cold & Flu Relief Capsules are suitable for adults and children aged 16 and older. Take two red and yellow capsules every four to six hours, as required, during the day up to a maximum of three doses (six capsules) in any 24-hour period. At night, take two blue and red capsules. Do not take more than a total of eight Lemsip Max Day & Night Cold & Flu Relief Capsules in any 24-hour period. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products.
