About this deal

Take care to avoid getting the lotion in the eyes, mouth or nose, or on the face or sensitive areas of skin such as the genitals. If you accidentally get the lotion on these areas wash it off immediately with plenty of water. Flammable product, do not use on or near painted or polished surfaces; near open flames or hot surfaces and in confined spaces. Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways. The following are some of the side effects that are known to be associated with this medicine. Just because a side effect is stated here, it does not mean that all people using this medicine will experience that or any side effect. You can use the lotion up to three times a day if needed. Reduce down to morning and evening once your symptoms start to improve. Radian B Muscle Lotion may be applied again after 10-15 minutes if needed but no more than three times a day. This should be then reduced to morning and evenings when acute symptoms subside.

Haemodialysis is the treatment of choice for severe poisoning and should be considered in patients with plasma salicylate concentrations >700mg/L (5.1mmol/L), or lower concentrations associated with severe clinical or metabolic features. Patients under ten years or over 70 have increased risk of salicylate toxicity and may require dialysis at an earlier stage. For more information about any other possible risks associated with this medicine, please read the information provided with the medicine or consult your doctor or pharmacist. Apply the lotion onto the palm of your hand or to some cotton wool and then smooth into the affected area. Camphor, methyl salicylate and ethyl salicylate are also counter-irritants. When applied to the skin they cause cause redness and a sensation of heat to be produced. This distracts the brain from the original pain and therefore reduces the perception of pain.Ingestion of the product or excessive use may also lead to camphor poisoning, the symptoms of which include nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, headache, dizziness, oropharyngeal burning, delirium, muscle twitching, epileptiform convulsions, CNS depression and coma. Breathing is difficult and the breath has a characteristic odour; anuria may occur. Death from respiratory failure or status epilepticus may occur; fatalities in children have been recorded from 1 g. Supportive care, including anticonvulsant therapy, is the mainstay of treatment of camphor intoxication. Gastric lavage may be considered if the patient presents within 1 hour of ingestion; any convulsions must be controlled first. Activated charcoal may be given orally. A mixed respiratory alkalosis and metabolic acidosis with normal or high arterial pH (normal or reduced hydrogen ion concentration) is usual in adults and children over the age of four years. In children aged four years or less, a dominant metabolic acidosis with low arterial pH (raised hydrogen ion concentration) is common. Acidosis may increase salicylate transfer across the blood brain barrier. When used externally as directed, overdose is unlikely. However, symptoms of systemic salicylate poisoning have been reported after the application of salicylates to large areas of skin or for prolonged periods. Salicylism may also occur in the unlikely event of large quantities being ingested. If you feel you have experienced an allergic reaction, stop using this medicine and inform your doctor or pharmacist immediately. Flammable: Do not use near naked flame. Should not be placed on or used near polished or painted surfaces.

This medicine contains fragrance with Geraniol, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate, Eugenol and Citral, which may cause allergic reactions.Menthol causes the blood vessels on the surface of the skin to widen. It causes a sensation of coldness followed by a reduction in pain. Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age should sprinkle a few drops of lotion into the hand or onto some cotton wool and then smooth or massage this gently into the painful area. Repeat after 10 to 15 minutes if needed. When convenient, apply the lotion after a warm bath. Central nervous system features including confusion, disorientation, coma and convulsions are less common in adults than in children.

Common features include vomiting, dehydration, tinnitus, vertigo, deafness, sweating, warm extremities with bounding pulses, increased respiratory rate and hyperventilation. Some degree of acid-base disturbance is present in most cases. There are various Delivery Service Level options: PLEASE make sure you choose the correct service for you.
