About this deal

Here’s a closer look at the LEGO Jurassic Park Ford Explorers. At first glance, you’ll be pleased to know that the colours are pretty accurate, with the lime green, yellow and dark red being used to great effect here. That the crushed one sits nicely at a slight angle and comes with one tyre missing (after the T. rex bit into it and burst it) just highlights the extra attention to detail that has gone into the set’s design, as do other builds like the flashlight, cups of water and night vision goggles. It is the inclusion of many aspects like these that elevate any LEGO set, but particularly those that encourage you to look first, touch second. All that’s left to do now is put everything together! We start with Tour Vehicle 4, which slots nicely into the diorama’s base, held in place by the dark tan terrain. And last but not least, here’s a look at the printed tiles, which has the LEGO Jurassic Park logos on one, as well as a quote from Ian Malcolm, which is a fantastic touch.

And yes, there are studs on the Ford Explorer, so that the T.Rex can affix itself neatly as its stomping it.The set includes 4 minifigures – Alan Grant, Ian Malcolm, and the kids Lex and Tim Murphy who are covered in mud. Here’s a look at the kids, Lex and Tim Murphy, who are both covered head to toe in mud. Again, kudos for to the graphic designer for bringing these details to life in such a vivid way, and I love the splotches of mud across their torsos & faces, as well as muddy arms and legs. In addition to consultations with the consultee listed, we will publicise the application in accordance with national requirements and our local policy. Alan Grant, has his red scarf, tan hat, and very wet clothes, which are slightly dishevelled which is a really nice touch by the graphic designer Casper Glahder. They both carry flares to distract the T.Rex.

Four characters are included in 76956 T. rex Breakout and they are each exclusive to the set, and lovingly designed to reflect the sheer chaos of the scene they are involved in. Lex and Tim Murphy are suitably terrified and covered in mud, while Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ian Malcolm are both drenched through from the rain. For aspects such as the two (or rather, one-and-a-half) Ford Explorers, that is very much true to say. We have been waiting a long time to build an official LEGO version of this vehicle and what is before us in 76956 T. rex Breakout does not disappoint. This is an absolute winner for me, and with Jurassic World Dominion hitting theatres soon, I for one am looking forward to the Jurassic Park/World resurgence! For me, the highlight of the set has been a long-time coming. LEGO Jurassic Park/World fans have for years been clamouring for the iconic Jurassic Park Ford Explorers, and we FINALLY get them in minifigure-scale, and they do not disappoint in the slightest!

Special thanks to the LEGO Group for providing this set for review 76956 Jurassic Park T. Rex Breakout – Set Details A detail that is really only clearly visible at this stage are the T Rex’s rain filled footprints. The new 1×1 quarter circle tile in transparent light blue really work well here. This is one of the best-designed LEGO instruction manuals yet, and I really love the lush greenery and Jurassic Park logo plastered out on the front.
