There's no one best electric scooter brand. However, there are several that we've found to deliver the most well-constructed and great-performing e-scooters: Pure, Kugoo, Segway, and Xiaomi.

But it is still officially limited to a 100kg rider. The Pure Air Pro model is both more waterproof and can handle up to 120kg. All of that lighting makes the scooter compliant with the legal requirements for electric scooters in most countries. I usually recommend getting an extra set of stronger after-market lights for riding at night, especially for budget scooters, but in the case of the Xiaomi Mi Pro 2, I don’t think that will be necessary. Even though the version number of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 3 is higher, it will still come with significantly less range than the Pro 2, and less performance overall, most notably climbing power, even though the motor power should be the same on paper. The Xiaomi 3 seems to have been made less performant on purpose so it will be street-legal internationally. Most of the other specs will be comparable or identical. And battery life seems pretty good. While I didn’t ride it for long enough to test how far I could have travelled on one charge, four separate rides covering 14 miles still left me with plenty of battery life, with half my time testing in Drive Mode.
