When you reach a score of 11,000 in any song in this game, you'll receive a Superstar! That means the letters are now shown on the score bar and the 5 golden stars are changed to Platinum. Also, Gold Moves or Gold Notes display " GOLD MOVE" or "GOLD NOTES" in the score area (instead of " YEAH") when they are performed or sung correctly, with the latter playing that said sound effect.None of the dancers in the trailer for the game made an appearance in the actual game, as they were only there for promotional reasons.

On the PS3 version of the game, the store is not available. Instead, it was replaced by PS3 song exclusives.

On all consoles the triangle has more rounded corners than Just Dance or Just Dance 2, especially on the Xbox 360.

Just Dance 3 marks the first Just Dance game to use Ubisoft’s reward system, Uplay, which was later known as Ubisoft Club, then later merged with the Uplay PC client to be known as Ubisoft Connect. However, unlike Just Dance 2, lyrics are displayed in the top left corner rather than in the bottom-center between the two triangles. Perform 20 authentic Broadway-style choreographies from the most beloved showtunes, including 'Cabaret', 'My Favorite Things', 'Dreamgirls', 'Roxie', and many more. Also, the Ubisoft logo animation movie is different than its normal version in the Xbox 360 version.
