About this deal

The sound is great, features are plentiful and there’s even fairly good water resistance. Some speakers in this class and the next have more bass, but most are a lot more expensive and almost none have the same breadth of features. It’s a pity the app and firmware update process are deeply flawed, though. Having said that, the Creative Muvo Go is also waterproofed with IPX7 certification. This would be a perfect outdoor Bluetooth speaker to have around when you’re out camping or on a picnic by the river. The potability of the Creative Muvo Go is just perfect for me. The size is not too big and it is not too small either. You can place it on a flat surface horizontally or vertically, whichever way you prefer. Or you can always hang it somewhere, thanks to the detachable shoestring lanyard. American JBL has since 1946 delivered world class sound, and today their Bluetooth speakers are in the battle for the top. With JBL Charge 4, you can get your Bluetooth speaker in a variety of colours. Whether a girly pink, or a minimalistic grey, the choice is yours with this Bluetooth speaker. If you need power in your music, you can upgrade to JBL Boombox or JBL PartyBox 300. Both are a bit bigger than the small versions, and you will notice it! JBL Boombox is waterproof and can handle even the wettest pool parties, and with its giant powerful battery it can play for 24 hours straight. Spark up the party with a JBL PartyBox 300 Bluetooth speaker. Turn on the microphone and show off your singing talent or connect your guitar and entertain everyone with a solo. If you are not much of a musician yourself, you can connect your phone or tablet and play your personal playlists. Accompanied by the inviting disco light in the Bluetooth speaker.

When quality needs to be on top, the big brands never disappoint. This is true for the most part, and Bluetooth speakers are no exception. We have a wide selection of Bluetooth speakers, and our assortment includes big brands like JBL and Marshall. To produce such sounds, the Creative Muvo Go is powered by a dual full-range Neodymium driver that delivers full-bodied, remarkable audio with powerful bass of up to 20W (40W peak), all made possible in combination with dual passive bass radiators. Even that sounded impressive to me. The MUVO Mini is very much Creative’s outdoor speaker, because it iscertified to be weatherproof to the IP66 standard,no less. In practice, this means that – provided you don’t submerge the unit in a bowl of water – it will stand up to the wetstuff perfectly. This is very handy for impromptu barbecues, motorhome rallies and festival fun when you’re at the mercy of the unpredictable British weather. As fine as the Muvo 2 looks, Creative speakers suit those who care more about a speaker’s insides than its outsides.A portable Bluetooth speaker is an easy and cheap way to take your favourite music with you anywhere. Take your Bluetooth speakers with you to the beach, the park, the harbour, a garden party – the choice is yours. The only thing you need to do is connect your Bluetooth speaker to your phone or tablet and let the music play for hours. Unlike most small speakers with a single drive unit, it doesn’t become “shouty” or more harsh, and the passive radiator only distorts in extreme situations. Single passive radiators are prone to a sort of farting noise as they strain against their limit if not engineered properly. The Creative Muvo 2C doesn’t do this, no matter how hard the radiator is worked. Overall audio quality is darn good for small speakers. Of course, I’ve head better, but that comes at a usually much higher price. But for what the MUVO Play was designed for—its small size, handy lanyard and decent audio should provide a fun and easy way to fit music into your daily routine—whether as a single speaker or paired with a second speaker for stereo. What I like The Creative Muvo Go weighs about 570g. It feels really solid when holding it in one hand. There are two speakers inside the speaker grille facing forward. And there are two more “bassy” speakers located on each side of the speaker body facing outward left and right. Together, they can produce symphonic sound that you can never expect from a Bluetooth speaker like this.

So would I recommend this Creative Muvo Go Bluetooth speaker? Yes I would. Even my wife approves of it. She said that it was really easy for her to pair up with her phone and she is not that tech savvy. If she can do it, I’m sure it would be easy for anyone else too. Plus, it sounds good. Good enough that it is subtle, yet immersive. My personal opinion, it is my go to speaker when I’m relaxing in my mancave. The Creative Stage Air V2 is considered as a soundbar, so that is not within the same class as the Creative Muvo Go. That soundbar is attached to my SmartTV and it’s wonderful. The MUVO Play is a bulbous shape and size similar to the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom speaker—but at half their price. I can’t say if it sounds as good because I don’t have a Wonderboom speaker to compare. However, even if the MUVO Play’s style is derivative, it’s a nicely designed speaker that looks more expensive than it is. It’s round shape and speaker placements provide almost 360° audio. You could argue the Creative Muvo 2C tries to do a little too much for its own good. Sure enough, this isn’t the best choice for someone who struggles to get the basics of their phone working. However, for those with a bit of tech confidence this is one of the best tiny, low-cost speakers around.

Since the bass is rather strong, when I place the Creative Muvo Go on my table and blast at full volume, the vibrations caused by the speaker are close to none. Logically, I would anticipate some vibrations caused by high volume and punchy bass but I guess due to the weight and solid build, it does not vibrate at all. Just fyi, I prefer to place the Creative Muvo Go speaker horizontally on my table instead of vertically. So… important question… what is better than one Creative Muvo GO? TWO Creative Muvo GO speakers! Let’s get on with the video! This setup works a treat in all the best small bar-shape speakers, and does so again here. The Muvo 2 is alarmingly powerful and loud for its size, and at higher volumes the sound has much less a hard edge, and much more confidence, than the Muvo 2C. We’ve listened to it all day long near max volume, happily.

The MUVO Play also includes a range of useful features. It has a built-in microphone, enabling hands-free calling. It also offers voice assistant support, allowing users to control their music by voice command. The battery life on this thing will last for around 18 hours which is a huge amount of time for a speaker and one that’s quite impressive actually. Will definitely be enough for a weekend trip away. It has access to Bluetooth 5.3 and can produce a total peak power of up to 40 watts which is huge. As they’re capable of pairing with other Muvo GO speakers, they’re capable of a pretty decent volume level which will be great for a house party setting or pool party! Pairing is very easy too. Just hold down the Bluetooth button, and it’ll give you a pairing prompt. From here, tap the power button on each speaker twice, and they’ll connect. Seamless. There’s a prompt to let you know which one is the right speaker, but once that prompt happens, you’ve got no way of knowing which is which. I would have liked the indicator light to glow a different colour for the right and left for example. I tested out the Bluetooth range of the Muvo Mini by leaving my phone in one place and walking around my studio apartment, which is about 30 feet in length. There wasn't a single audio artifact or drop in connection, even through a few walls. When using it as a speakerphone, call quality was just fine and the person on the other end had no issue hearing my voice through the microphone. Final verdictA blue LED means Bluetooth, yellow means MP3 player, purple USB and green aux input. The Creative Muvo 2C automatically uses Bluetooth when first switched on, so if you’re using the standard mode you don’t have to think about this Mode button too much. REVIEW – In my years of reviewing portable Bluetooth speakers, one of my all-time favorites is the Creative iRoar speaker. It’s becoming a cliché, but that little desktop monster sounds way bigger than its size. The iRoar is that rare Bluetooth speaker you can listen to all day without wishing you had something bigger or louder. It’s really good! But what if you just want a small speaker that can be used outdoors where it might be splashed with mud, dropped into a pool or just plain mistreated? Creative makes that too—the Creative MUVO Play portable and waterproof Bluetooth speaker for outdoors. Is the MUVO Play a mini iRoar or is it just a me-too speaker? What is it? The Creative Muvo 2C also supports voice calling, using a pinhole mic by the top buttons, and even stereo pairing for a more room-filing experience. Again, this can be done without the phone app. You’ll get six hours’ use out of a charge, which is only just enough for comfort, but fairly good when you look at how small this speaker is versus how large it sounds.
