About this deal

Recovering from a traumatic event, a summer in the small town of Redemption Falls was the perfect solution for him. For Crew Madden needs to find a place to recover. I don’t think I’ve ever read a secret-baby trope before, but since we’ve already established I’m here to see the show, I was definitely eating it up. Jagger is also just the cutest kid ever. Those scenes at the lake house were my absolute favorite. I loved seeing the bond he shared with Bristol and eventually, Vince. Don’t even get me started on that epilogue. It sealed the deal for me. Despite the groupies, the success, the fun, life under the bright glare of fame and fortune isn’t enough.

The palpable chemistry between Vince and Bristol is a highlight of the book. Bromberg excels at creating intense emotional connections between her characters, and the resulting steamy scenes are excellently written. The progression of their relationship is filled with angst, desire, and teasing, but what stands out the most is the significant character growth, particularly on Vince’s side. Witnessing their journey towards healing and self-discovery is a captivating experience for readers. I’ve never read a book by @kbromberg and after reading this book I’ll definitely scope out some more! Let’s get into what I loved about it— I found the overall writing style to be quite juvenile and it was hard getting it to flow in my mind.Put together a woman with secrets and a dangerous past, and a protector at heart, and you should get an intense romantic suspense. Instead–and it’s an arguable choice but not out of place–the author chooses to focus on Tennyson and Crew’s relationship. Scenes of domesticity, or the way Crew slowly opens up to Tennyson and she pushes him to mingle more with the townsfolk. Don’t be ridiculous.” I grab his head in both of my hands and stare into those green eyes that are so light they’re almost translucent. “You’re all I need. You’re everything to me.” The best time to read a book depends on your personal schedule and preferences. Here are some suggestions: I fully understood her reasoning, the secret baby trope always annoys me in the sense that the girl never has a good enough reason as to why she didn’t tell him or “try hard enough to” but she did…and I fully am on her side.

With her imagination always in overdrive, she is currently scheming, plotting, and swooning over her latest hero. You can find out more about him or chat with Kristy on any of her social media accounts. The easiest way to stay up to date on new releases and upcoming novels is to sign up for her newsletter ( http://bit.ly/254MWtI) or text KBromberg to 77948 to receive text alerts when a new book releases. While there may not be any other woman drama or cheating, Vince does sleep around during the period of time he and Bristol were apart. I mean, a lot. His excuse is that he was trying to get over her any way possible. There’s a lot of self-sabotage with him bringing himself down to the point where he actually believes he is incapable and unworthy of love.

Early morning: Some people find that reading in the morning helps them start their day with a positive and productive mindset. With her imagination always in overdrive, K Bromberg is currently scheming, plotting, and swooning over her latest hero. The easiest way to stay up to date on new releases or sign up for her newsletter ( here) or text KBromberg to 77948 to receive text alerts when a new book releases. This is a complete standalone but if you end up wanting more, K. Bromberg already wrote the story of one of Vince’s band mate in Sweet Ache, part of her Driven spinoff series. Bristol is so relatable, and it's so easy to understand her mindset when it comes to Vince. She's afraid to put hope there, but it's so beautiful when she's finally able to do that and it doesn't fall apart. The last few chapters especially had me by the heart, and I was so happy at the end. My heart jumps out of my chest as I scan the shadows of my room for whatever just yanked me from sleep.

schedule, his unyielding demands, and his snap-of-the-fingers-you-betterjump communication skills, he only seems to notice you if you screw up.

Sweet Regret Summary

I loved the Synopis of this book. But this was utterly disappointing to me. This was the first time that I believed, that the h was correct in hiding her pregnancy from the H. Because if this was real, and I was her, I would've done the same. 🙄🙄 Characterization is another area where Sweet Regret shines. The main characters, Vince and Bristol, are well-developed and relatable. Their flaws and vulnerabilities make them endearing, and readers can’t help but root for their happiness. The supporting cast of characters adds depth and richness to the story, with memorable secondary characters and cameos from beloved characters from previous books by the author.

No, Shug.” The tensing of my body has him swearing. “God, yes, I want you. How could you think otherwise? You’re all I think about. Sometimes I want you so bad it physically hurts. But not like this. Not now.” The amount of italicized and cringey inner monologues going on were ridiculous. SO many that I felt like it took away from the overall flow of the book, which I was already struggling to find. Bristol, determined to build a future as a lawyer, has learned to face life's challenges head-on. Yet, the memory of Vince lingers, woven into the very fabric of her existence. When fate reunites them, their souls resonate with a love that refuses to be forgotten. this book covered my favorite trope and i liked it a lot at first then it started to get repetitive. she gives him the cold shoulder, they talk abt how much they loved each other as kids, they argue, they have sex, they repeat. i felt like the couple made no connection as their present selves and they rely solely on the connection they had ELEVEN YEARS AGO. they kinda just reminisce abt their past and get upset w each other the wholeeeee book. It gets off to a strong start and there is a good deal of tension building up to firstly, Vince and Bristol meeting again after seven years , then to the big reveal of Jagger which I have to say was done spectacularly well. My heart was skipping beats. In between this you have a truly damaged soul which is Vince and it is a result of his abusive childhood. Each time the book had a dark moment, it was beautifully balanced with something funny or the pure delight that was Jagger. There is a scene where Jagger explains why his Daddy isn't in his life;

I hope this isn’t spoilery, but if it is, I apologize. The real story is not that they do or don’t break up before the end, because as romance lovers, most of us expect it (but I prefer a wobble to a break-up). What makes this book so good is how they work through their stuff separately and together and it becomes their forever last time together. It was very touching and low-key in such a lovely way I haven’t ever read before. but yea overall it just didn’t feel like vince made a connection w both jagger AND bristol. basically there was a whole lot of talk and no action. he TOLD them (and us) how much he supposedly loves them but did not in fact show us. the whole book is literally them arguing, talking abt how much they loved eachother for the past 11 years (despite bro sleeping w how many other women, but of course it was okay bc he was thinking of bristol the whole time), and continuously sleeping w eachother despite their hundreds of unsolved conflicts. imo they treat the mmc (vince) like a child and let him get away w so much. he treated his best friend like crap and barely apologized to him and the best friend just brushes it under the rug like nothing happened. I remembered Vince from reading Sweet Ache quite some time ago, so I was excited to listen to the audio version of this book, narrated by Ryan West and Stella Hunter. Both narrators did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life, conveying, the emotion, angst, and the passion well. I just struggled with both the MCs a bit on this one. They’re supposed to be pushing 30, but they act like they regressed to their teen years. While I understand the original decision she made and the circumstances around it, she continues to harbor a secret longer than she should, and he gets mad about a situation that he basically caused, and just does a lot of frustrating things. Yes, they had blazing hot physical chemistry, but sometimes it felt like that’s all that mattered to him. Vince finally blossomed when he learned about his child, and that’s when he really started to evolve for me. I enjoyed the glimpses of Hawkin and the rest of Bent, and little Jagger was definitely a scene stealer. While not my favorite K. Bromberg book, I’m glad I opted to go the audio route, because that adds another layer to the experience. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Your different is your beautiful, Shug. It always has been for me. It always will be for me.” — Sweet Regret by K. Bromberg
