They look much better and much closer to proper Land Rover wheels. Not quite as heavy as the aluminium wheels but with the added weight of the portal covers the trade off was definitely worth it. Been awhile since I updated the thread so here's what we have been up to with our TRX4s over the last few weeks.So after all my hard work I'm going to sell the bronco body with the links, fenders etc. I've got a rather nice Defender body and LWB conversion kit on the way which should turn up tomorrow. I know it won't perform as well but to my eyes they look so much better and it just gives me an excuse to buy more shiny parts ? So after a couple more runs recently Niall has taken a massive liking to the Defender and tbh I can't blame him as its such a fun rig for trailing. He's officially decided it's his now ? I’ll continue to elaborate on my opinions and my experiences as I spend more time with the rig and capture more photos, but I do want to mention a few other key points that won me over. The Traxxas TRX-4 comes with the TQi 2.4 GHz 4-Channel Transmitter. It needs 4 AA size batteries to operate. It has all the necessary buttons and switches at place. The design of the device is ergonomic. So it will feel comfortable even if you are using it for a long time. The layout of the device is very user-friendly. So you will get familiar with the TQi 2.4 GHz 4-Channel Transmitter after using it a couple of times. Performance Turning TRX-4M provides all the fun and versatility of a compact crawler without any of the limitations.
