This behavior continues for more than half of the book. We learn of why Damon is such a tortured soul and we can see and forgive him for his actions towards Jo. Everything changed when a man with amber eyes came through her door and claimed her heart. She fell hard in more ways than one. The pull between Jo and Damon seemed like fate bringing things full circle. He’s just doing his job making sure her car gets towed. It’s the right thing to do, escorting an injured woman to the town doc.The way in which Camden Walker views the world is unusual and fascinating. His energy and spirit are intense. The way he see the world as a work of art in progress is eye opening. The way in which he transcends his traumatic childhood is incredibly inspiring. His determination to turn negative situations in to positives is astounding. Isla grew up having her entire life planned out for her but she wanted to break free from her father's hold and make her own decisions and her own choices. Caleb lived trapped in a home with his alcoholic father, haunted by nightmares of memories from his past. But instead of being completely wrong for each other, Isla and Caleb turned out to be the best things to ever come into each other's lives. They were two broken souls who had been through so much, both individually and together, just trying to rebuild the pieces from their shattered lives as they explored their perfectly imperfect relationship.

It would take a special person to love such a unique, haunted man and the woman he was with as the story began didn't deserve to be anywhere near him. He knew it too. BUT, there was always someone else looking on, wishing she could have what she knew could not..bringing ALLLL those fluttery feels I love finding in my angsty romances straight into my heart!! This sequel is a sequel of freggin EPIC proportions, it was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be, it was everything and more. Was it hard to read, yes. But there has ever been anything easy in Jo's life so far, so why would it be in the sequel? The highs and lows on this mind, heart twisting roller coaster had me all over the damn place. However with all that being said, It was nothing short of perfect, splendidly, agonizingly, PERFECT! Aly Stiles’ storytelling has an uncanny ability to get right to my heart, a wide range of emotions. Like an explosion of colors, full of meaning when every color is closely associated with certain feelings and emotions. Well it resonated with me.When you were mine, you made everything better. You made my life better. You made me better. You have been my medicine. You made the hurt disappear. It makes me abundantly aware that loving him can be painful as hell, but being without him is hellish agony. And are you ready for the best? IKR?!?! Yeah, there's more, Ladies!!! I have a sneaky suspicion that Restore Me isn't the last we will be seeing of this balls to the wall series! JL Mac is such a lovely and giving author, and also a diabolical mastermind that leaves us ecstatic and screaming WHAT?!?! & Oh God WHY!?!?! All in the same chapter! Will Caleb finally realize that all Hart men really are NOT the same? Will Isla be able to break free of her fathers grasp and create the life that she has always wanted? Will they be able to do this together?

Surprisingly Olivia was proving him wrong every minute, reading him like no one else ever did. Being that shining and vibrant color in his darkness. Wow - this book was crafted to showcase so many emotions. I absolutely loved the feelings it invoked with a love story of two star-crossed lovers(in my opinion). Isla the beautiful rich girl who is struggling to get out of her fathers hold and Caleb the broken man whose been pushed down constantly most of his life, broken due to others choices. This book is very short and I was slightly disappointed by that. Along the road to Damon and Jo's HEA, there are some dark forces working against them, namely Damon's father. There is also the fact that Jo wants to find Damon's mother who abandon him as child. A stranger comes into the picture as well and you can just see the handwriting on the wall. All these forces come together at the end. The story is not over but at least there is not a huge cliffy as before. More of a- to be continued. Gram is still a big presence in the book and her feistiness is ever present. I am hopeful that the final book will give Damon and Jo their HEA. They have endured so much and I am sure there is still much to endure but hopefully at the end of the day, these two will as one. Camden and Olivia share an agonizingly sensual and profoundly moving love story that is kept private and behind closed doors. Readers get the idea, but not the vivid details. Don't worry -- there's enough steamy chemistry and banter to keep it sizzling.
