About this deal

Brokk Grungsson – He’s sooooooo much fun and adds a little combat punch to the list to help finish off units that may have been left after some bad rolls. Forcing heroes who have non-interactable and exceptional buffs, who are fragile, like the Shardspeaker, to be danger close, is actually a good thing, in comparison to how relatively safe and consistent units like Skink priests are. Winners in the book to build around But where did the whip come from? Oh yeah, I bought the Start Collecting: Daemons of Slaanesh and Painbringers kits too, so I could add more bits to the mix. Using these kits, my next task was to find out how to introduce the Daemons into the mix without blowing the colour palette up even more. I started out with the Seekers and painted them in the Beasts of Chaos colours:

Just for fun here we present few thematic warbands, meant more for fun or narrative context than for competitive play. Note that in narrative play you need to complete a quest that allows you to recruit a Hero before being able to add him to your roster. Archers are definitely an interesting option and worth their cost more in comparison to the cavalry counterpart allowing you to have few of them to cover the gaps in your roster. They coat their arrowheads in Blissbrew toxin, which overwhelms the senses of those they hit, unravelling an enemy’s carefully laid battleplans as their forces are overcome with pleasure and pain. It’s very distracting. Being Mounted means also in certain settings they may be limited in the actions they can perform. Otherwise, they are a good solid option and a talented general can take advantage of their characteristics and use them at their best.

Compared to their demonic counterpart, they have more arrows in their quivers: literally considering demons don’t have archer units. To combat this, the decision has been made to publish the top three without comments. Where possible, writers will then revisit in the future to add comments if they feel its necessary.

Blissbarb Archers are the lowest echelon of mortal Hedonites of Slaanesh, which means that they’re not even permitted the ecstasy of duking it out in melee combat with all their sensation-seeking friends. The remaining stuff is quite positive. The Bladelords are good, bodyguards for your more delicate or important Heroes like Teclis or the Scinari Cathaller are extremely important if you have the space. The wardens are your bread and butter and youll be buying a fair number of them anyway so good start to include them here. This is the top three AoS lists for Wargames for Warriors that took place in Utah, USA on the 20th and 21st of May. It involved 22 players vying to be crowned champion in a 5-game tournament. Short Announcement There are many powerful and versatile units across the Hedonites of Slaanesh faction, and some more, in particular, are about to see some significant benefits from the new edition. Sigvald, Prince of Slaanesh

Lots of head winds for Slaanesh since their book dropped with SBGL, KO, OBR and Khorne all vying for attention. We’ve seen a lot of Slaanesh armies podium but not always take first. Here we have first, with with an absolutely gorgeous army of mortals making this very accessible. We don’t often talk about this but apart from the Leaders and twinsouls you can build the rest of the army from the Vanguard kit. Most fail, which is no surprise given that these steeds are as bad-tempered as Flesh Hounds and quite a bit faster. Those who succeed become addicted to speed, unleashing volleys of toxin-tipped arrows as they barrel around the battlefield. Just before the launch of the new wave of Slaanesh mortals, Games Workshop presented different tutorials to get ready as soon as you can put your hands on the newest models in town. I bought a Herdstone and painted it before reading the rules, oh well it can at least be used as scenery or I could make a pure Beasts force in the future I guess. Slakeslash is a Slaangor Fiendblood with higher damage (3/6) and wounds (22) and same ability to perform a bonus run towards a close enemy (remember that now costs a Double not a Triple).
