About this deal

Before you make the connection you have to reverse the extruder’s direction. If you don’t do this the extruder will retract when it should feed, and feed when it should retract. Reversing the extruder direction is easy if you compile your own version of Marlin, but if you are using a pre-compiled version like I was you have to reverse 2 wires in the extruder’s connector. The 2 wires to reverse are either the red/green pair OR the yellow/blue pair – but NOT BOTH. The test completed successfully and took about 20 seconds after the hotend got up to 200C. I put the 3 GCode commands into a text file, named it extruder.gcode, copied the file onto the SD card I use for the printer, and printed it. Naturally the “print” completed in 0 seconds. Then I put an 8″ piece of filament into the extruder, lined it up with the extruder’s bottom edge (the small hole under the Bondtech nameplate, and used the Extrude menu to push 50 mm (10 mm 5 times) out of the extruder. Here is the results: If doing this hot, watch to make sure the plastic isn’t shooting out to the side (partial clog) or showing signs of skipping.

Just run the test a couple times to verify that you get exactly the same every time. I’ve never had an issue doing this. The Bondtech LGX® Lite is a filament feeder based on the LGX® Large Gears eXtruder and uses Bondtech’s new Dual Drive Technology based on larger drive gears. Each LGX® Lite extruder is supplied with: When using the formulas above, make sure you’re using your updated rotation_distance / e-steps value for the “current” value. Don’t keep using the original value.

The aux pin can be used for a couple different things, it can be used for an X endstop on the toolhead if you are going with the umbililcal MOD, to do this you need to wire up the x endstop as shown here:

Heated bed: Heated beds are heated platforms that, when printed or placed on top of, create the material. A heated bed is important for printing objects that require a heated surface, such as ABS. In any case, we make some suggestions, from our point of view, which may be the most appropriate in each case:

Greater weight in the assembly that can cause problems in the kinematics if the chassis/kinematics assembly is not properly adjusted. The housing parts are professionally printed with polyamide 12 Glass Filled for maximum strength, precision and higher temperature resistance. We are going to divide the print head into two parts, depending on the type of print head these parts can be more or less integrated or separated: Hotend, is the part that is responsible for “melting” the filament to deposit it in our printing area, forming layers that will generate our printed figures . The hotend is usually made up of different parts…
