About this deal

This has made my headset (one of the most expensive on the market) nothing more than a desk ornament... Having tried the "Pair" button in the Dongle tab - you're prompted to plug the USB in from the headset into your system and reassured that "Pairing will start soon"... but it never does. Wireless connectivity is the signature feature here. Corsair has built these headphones around its new, proprietary 2.4GHz “Slipstream” tech, which uses intelligent frequency shifting to keep the signal strong regardless of ambient RF activity at a range of up to 60 feet. In principle, this should avoid the many problems with traditional Bluetooth audio. To make Slipstream work, you need to plug the included USB dongle into either your PC or PS4. It sets up in seconds with no additional drivers required.

Maybe you can tell me how to make it work all in one? How to make iCue regulate AIO in automatic mode? Your VIRTUOSO headset provides 7.1 surround sound to help make your gaming experience more immersive.Realistic virtual immersive mix/listening rooms, which can be customised acoustically for your own or other rooms. Appears like the new headset improved on most of my qualms with the first edition of the headset. With the price though I will not be transitioning anytime soon. Maybe in the future I'll keep Corsair in mind, but will be first test driving for a full day or two before I settle on the comfort. If you’re spending more than two bills for headphones, odds are good that you’re going to use them for more than just gaming---they’ll probably stay on your head for many hours a day, for music, movies, or just to chat. To assess these cans, I played a handful of games, including Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus on the PC and God of War on the PS4, along with music and some Netflix.

But as good as these headphones sound, it’s hard to truly love them, and it’s all thanks to an unfortunately aggressive level of clamping pressure. These headphones embrace your skull with a firm grip which starts firm and gets more intense as the day goes on. I suspect that went a long way toward the pronounced headphone fatigue I routinely felt after wearing them for a few hours. Are there less comfortable headphones out there? For sure. And the Virtuoso does have a lot of memory foam padding on the earcups and headband. Even so, though, they’re best enjoyed in somewhat small doses. Purchasing Guide I'm in a similar situation to this but the thing is that my headset (virtuoso SE) still connects wirelessly. the audio quality is the default without any equalizer, and as far as my friends on discord can tell the mic quality is unchanged. the dongle just blinks red like nothing is connected but the headset is very clearly still working Also, the range of Corsair's Slipstream 2.4 GHz tech doesn't seem to be quite as far as Logitech's competing Lightspeed alternative. At least in my apartment, the Virtuoso XT's audio would cut out consistently once I moved about three rooms away from the PC with the transceiver (with doors open between all rooms). With the Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed Wireless, I could consistently venture an extra room away before its audio became unstable. All that said, not everything is excellent here. The rated battery life is just 15 hours, 5 hours less than the previous model. Corsair says, though, that the dual connectivity feature leads to the shorter battery life rating, and that you should still get about 20 hours of runtime if you're just connected to one device. Corsair claims the headset should last about 20 hours on a charge, and there’s a six-foot braided USB-C charging cable you can use to turn the Virtuoso into wired headphones on the PC. When using the cable, your PC can pass full high fidelity 24bity/96KHz audio to the headphones. You can also connect these headphones to an Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or mobile phone with the included five feet of braided 3.5 mm audio cable. Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE - SoftwareWe all wish we remembered to charge our devices more often and we all inevitably forget from time to time. That’s why a 300 hour battery life on these wireless cans is so appealing. None of that would matter if the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless sounded and but it’s consistently crisp and powerful. DTS Headphone: X Spatial Audio support further enriches why all PC gamers could do with it, while the noise-cancelling mic works admirably well for those noisy sessions. There is still the tab for the dongle in ICUE and I get the same issue with pairing but the solution that worked for you doesn't work for me, when I switch from wireless to wired mode it just disconnects the dongle and stops the pairing process.

for more context though; ICUE detects the dongle but not the headset. (See first image attachment) Before the update there was a tab at the top for the headset.

The Corsair HS line is the biggest aimed at the most people

The VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS headset comes with a detachable microphone with an LED ring that indicates whether the microphone is currently live or mute. Make sure your in the Dongle (Reciever) device tab. if you dont even have the Dongle detected then i think we had different issues. Corsair has updated the design with the XT model to improve comfort, lessening the clamping force on your head and adding more padding to the headband. The result is a headset that's far more comfortable for long-term use than the similarly styled Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed Wireless, which has been my go-to work headset for the past year-plus of the work-from-home pandemic. I decided to experiment. Installed iCue 3.4 - he saw everything, but he also could not control the rear fan and AIO.
