About this deal

I adored the way fate pushed them together. They both had their own struggles in life, but those struggles ultimately bring them together again and it was done so beautifully. Four years later, fate is bringing them on each other's path for once again and things are getting complicated... Skylar's inner turmoil, the impact of this experience on her but also the bullying she is submitted to by her so called friends are very realistically represented.

Devil," I exclaimed, "do you dare approach me? And do not you fear the fierce vengeance of my arm wreaked on your miserable head? Begone, vile insect! Or rather, stay, that I may trample you to dust! And, oh! That I could, with the extinction of your miserable existence, restore those victims whom you have so diabolically murdered!" Ivy was kind of annoying to me. I understood she went through hell and she is survivor. But I just did not like her character. Every time Aiden would try to help her, she would just turn him down and continuously question why he wanted to help her. And to some extent I understood why she was like that, but it got annoying at some parts and I just did not like her that much. Aiden was okay, I guess I liked him a more than Ivy but not by much. He was very sweet and selfless, but he was a bit pushy. I understand in some ways Ivy needed him to be a bit pushy, but it was just another thing that annoyed me. My rage was without bounds; I sprang on him, impelled by all the feelings which can arm one being against the existence of another.idk how to word it but she’s like the type of character that goes through so much that you kinda have to like her??? yeah well i didnt. Skylar is a freshman in Lindon U and her year starts with a BANG!! She then meets DJ (a.k.a Danny) who is on the football team, but he seems fascinated by the way she acts simply because she is different then everyone. Book Genre: Academic, College, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Dark, Football, New Adult, Romance, Sports, Sports Romance, Young Adult These two were not just best friends, they were each other's lifeline and they have a long road ahead of them to become that for once again...

It makes no sense to me why a player so sought after would be at a school like Lindon. We’re not Division I. If anything, we’re the misfit college—once thriving, now barely making ends meet if not for the championships the football team wins. I’ve heard people say that athletes who blow it at other schools come here to redeem themselves. Some of them make a future for themselves in the pros after their second chance, and others fizzle out. If you're a fan of angsty, raw, and real stories that just isn't only filled with good romance but also about life and the strength of family, this might be for you. Why do you call to my remembrance," I rejoined, "circumstances of which I shudder to reflect, that I have been the miserable origin and author? Cursed be the day, abhorred devil, in which you first saw light! Cursed (although I curse myself) be the hands that formed you! You have made me wretched beyond expression. You have left me no power to consider whether I am just to you or not. Begone! Relieve me from the sight of your detested form." At age 16, Ivy runs away from a home where she feels no longer welcome, where her parents struggle with financial issues, where the cops are a constant presence after her parents fight and her mother verbally and emotionally abuses her. Aiden was having big dreams and he was working very hard to achive his goals, but he couldn't lose Ivy for a second time...I expected this reception," said the dæmon. "All men hate the wretched; how, then, must I be hated, who am miserable beyond all living things! Yet you, my creator, detest and spurn me, thy creature, to whom thou art bound by ties only dissoluble by the annihilation of one of us. You purpose to kill me. How dare you sport thus with life? Do your duty towards me, and I will do mine towards you and the rest of mankind. If you will comply with my conditions, I will leave them and you at peace; but if you refuse, I will glut the maw of death, until it be satiated with the blood of your remaining friends." But I’d endure. I have nowhere else to go in this godforsaken town thanks to my spontaneous decision to get my life together, and I have no room to judge what Sydney is currently doing in the confines of her bedroom. I’ve done far worse, far more times, I’m sure of it.

Skylar,” he cuts me off, seriousness washing over his usually playful features. “I’m going to tell you this once, so listen real good. There’s a big difference between agreeing to help somebody when they ask because you care about them, and having people assume you’ll help because they think you owe them something. You never have to worry about me feeling used when it comes to anything we do together. I’ll bury my face between those pretty thighs of yours any day of the week. I’ll bury plenty of other things there too if that’s what you want.”DARE YOU TO HATE ME Is a full length New Adult | Sports Romance book by B. Celeste. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives.' Ivy and Aiden

I really did love this book. A lot. And it was all because of Ivy Underwood. The award-winning character of this show. She felt more genuine than most of the female protagonists I've encountered who also has the same issues. She was stubborn, sarcastic, a little bit crude, and distrustful. But she was a honest representation of a girl who suffered, who was depressed, whose past haunts her still. She wasn't sugarcoated. She wasn't pleasant. But she was a complex and an ardent character. She needs to be understood. Now into the hero. I loved how sweet, caring, and considerate Aiden was. I'm really surprised of his devotion with Ivy. He waited for her, literally and figuratively. He wasn't your typical controlling, annoying, arrogant, self-proclaimed manwhore, football player. He was something else. Something worthy of my respect and adoration.
