About this deal

Honor's been very generous with storage space on the Honor 90 — you get 256GB by default with the option of upgrading to a 512GB model. Both the Pixel 7a and the Galaxy A54 only offer 128GB, though the A54 also offers a 256GB version in some markets and microSD expansion for up to another terabyte of space. But without shelling out for a roomy microSD card or extra cloud storage, you're going to fit the most stuff onto the Honor for the price. Honor 90 review: Battery and charging

Speaking of gaming, the Honor 90 handles itself very well in this regard. Diving into a few online matches in both Mario Kart Tour and Call of Duty Mobile, I encountered zero slowdowns, and the Honor 90 didn’t run hot during my playtime. Couple that with the screen’s vibrancy, which in Mario Kart Tour really makes the levels pop, and the Honor 90 is an easy one to recommend for gamers on the go. BatteryThe 16MP front camera is a strong performer, taking flattering photos with a modest yet welcome level of beautification. Whichever camera you’re using, though, video caps out at 1080p (30fps) – not 4K, and its picture and digital stabilization is only ever fine. Performance and battery: Value champ On the charging front, the phone supports 66W wired charging, and the included Honor SuperCharge charger (kudos, Honor) juiced up my review unit from 0% to 35% in just 15 minutes. After 30 minutes, I’d reached 68%, and a full 100% charge took 50 minutes. The 50MP front camera is a strong performer too, providing decent detail, contrast and colour depth, while skin tones are on point. Honor has also offered two shooting angles – one normal 1x, and one zoomed-out 0.8x option. There’s only the one selfie camera around front, so there’s clearly cropping involved here (hence the megapixel boost), but it’s an effective mid-range camera solution.

As soon as you fire up the Honor 90 Lite, its standout highlight is just how slim the screen bezels are on three of its four sides. Below the screen, there’s a notable chin – so unlike pricier competition like the Nothing Phone (1), the 90 Lite’s bezel doesn’t frame the screen evenly on all sides. Nevertheless, the ample 6.7in screen takes centre stage and looks immersive in the process. Considering that the Samsung Galaxy A54 and Google Pixel 7 – two comparable mid-range phones that we’ve mentioned throughout this review – both take well over an hour to charge to 100%, 50 minutes is a mightily impressive figure, and Honor 90 owners will be hard-pressed to find themselves wanting for battery life. Honor squeezes in loads of its own bewildering apps and service provisions (YOYO Suggestions will recommend you apps from Honor’s superfluous App Market, if you let it), while the third party preinstallations include Netflix, Facebook, TikTok and Booking.com, as well as a couple of lousy games. The charging and battery data comes from the HONOR laboratory, tested in a temperature of 25℃, with With a 4500mAh battery, we got a very comfortable day out of the Honor 90 Lite. With no wireless charging, wired speeds cap out at 35W. That means when matched with a compatible charger, 10 minutes gives you 15 per cent charge, half an hour fills the phone up by around 55 per cent, and an hour takes it up to 90 per cent, with around 75 minutes charging it up fully. Honor 90 Lite verdictdepending on configurations, manufacturing processes, and measuring methods. Please refer to the actual The Honor 90 Lite proves to be quite a capable shooter, at least in optimal conditions. However, its 100MP main sensor is the only camera of true worth, churning out surprisingly chunky 25MP shots using a 4-in-1 pixel binning technique. I was pleased with the natural look of most of the shots I captured in good daylight conditions. Honor’s colour science generally resists the temptation to pump up the colours, unless you activate that AI mode, which can still be useful in certain scenarios. So there you have it, folks: the Honor 90’s display is easy on the eyes and easy on the eyes (I’ll see myself out).
