I love that this tent has two doors because it really does transform your camping experience if you are sharing your tent. It also has sealed seams to protect you from the rain; these seams aren’t always present in Naturehike tents. I also love that the tent is white, so it will reflect the heat away in the summer months and prevent the sleeping compartment from overheating. What I Don’t Like About This Tent Lightweight: The weight of the Cloud up 1 2 3 is about 2.65 lbs，3.1lbs and 4.0lbs, and is an optimal outdoor camping choice.

Note: The Cloud Up 2 will not fit two adult winter sleeping bags! Take a look at the picture below. My winter bag is so poofy that it takes up almost the entire width of the tent. With 4000mm+ of water resistance and 50+ UV protection, this tent will take good care of you in the summer as well as the wet and windy months. For the price, I have yet to find a better two-person tent for the great outdoors. As you’d expect with an ultralight tent, the Cloud Up 2 material is really thin. Mine hasn’t punctured or ripped yet, but I’m always very careful about clearing the pitch space of sharps before setting it up. And definitely use the ground sheet with the Cloud Up 2! The lightweight stakes included with the Cloud Up 2 are decent enough, but did eventually bend over time. An even bigger version of the Cloud Up 2, the Cloud Up 3 is the first version of this tent that I would recommend for two people sharing. It has only a single door and vestibule but the additional floor space means that you can bring some of your kit into the tent with you.This tent will keep you warm and dry for a weekend trip in foul weather but it’s not going to perform as well as the Hilleberg at high altitudes or in extreme climates, so don’t let appearances fool you.

What’s unique about Naturehike is that the company’s tents offer an outstanding balance between price and quality. They aren’t the cheapest tents on the market but they are considerably more waterproof, more windproof, and lighter than their competitors. Therefore, the Cloud Up 1 is ideal for hikers camping for a few days, but you’d probably want to invest in something lighter for any serious thru-hiking. The Upgrade I have yet to use the Cloud Up 2 in or on top of snow. However, I have slept in it multiple times in sub-freezing weather. The fly goes down low enough that you don’t feel wind. Condensation definitely forms on the fly, but I never had any issues with it dripping on me. Most campers also note that the tent is a great value for the money, though it’s a bit heavier than some of the more expensive options on the market. The tent has a stated weight of 1.2kg / 2lb 10oz. for the 1-man. As we saw with the Naturehike Taga, there is a 2 man version that’s a little heftier at an estimated 1.3kg / 2lb 140z. During our weigh-in, the 1-man came in more or less bang-on at 1234g / 2lb 11oz. MaterialsIf you go for the upgraded version, you’ll have a second vent in the sleeping compartment, which will reduce condensation and cool down your tent in the summer. WATERPROOF & WINDPROOF - This tent is one tough cookie with a waterproof rating of 4000MM thanks to its Silicone Nylon fabric and seam taping. The Silicone Nylon construction also makes this tent ideal for snow trekking as the slipperier material allows snow to slide straight off! The materials used to make the FlyCreek tent are definitely of a better quality than those of the CloudUp 2. However, according to what people are saying online, the difference is really negligible (again, I personally haven’t tried out the FlyCreek). It shares the same overall design as the Hilleberg but the materials are obviously not as high-quality in an entry-level version.
