About this deal

Sizing - Please Note : These Helmets come up on the small side, so if you are in between sizes we would suggest trying a size up. Helmet city are not responsible if the helmet does not fit. MOMO The RST Paragon 2’s are the ultimate waterproof touring boots in this lineup. Designed to resist the elements with no compromises made when it comes to rider safety, they are arguably the perfect all-round solution to motorcycle footwear. The vents in the rear of the heel help to keep the foot cooler when the going gets hot and I find they don’t get too sweaty.

If you are generally happy with the fit, leave the helmet on for a good length of time to ensure it is not pressing in places that are not immediately apparant. If a helmet is really pressing on your forehead this can sometimes cause a headache over time so it may be worth trying another size or brand. complete with ALL tags in place, helmet bag, manual, protective plastic on visor and any other associated parts supplied. Full-grain, PU coated, microfiber reinforced, what does it all mean, and which material should I choose? Full-GrainAnother concern is the protection. They are rated under the 2015 CE standard which uses three digits – a 1 or a 2. 1 is a basic pass and 2 is a superior pass. The later 2017 standard offers an additional number but this simply denotes the boot height – the first figure shows 1 for a short boot or 2 for a tall one. These are rated 2-1-1 which shows a superior pass for abrasion resistance but only basic passes for impact cut and transvers rigidity.

And then, when it starts to get really wet, they let water in. Admittedly it does need to be pretty solid rain and spray but nonetheless, the feet get wet in a way that other boots I have tried over the years don’t. At the same time, it’s also true that standard levers can be fairly plain; they often come without span adjusters, preventing you from tuning them to fit just-so while there are also lots of fancy aftermarket alternatives available, too. For the fair-weather riders among us, waterproofness might not be as much of a consideration as it is to those of us who commute during the wet winter months . Even then, if you live in Britain, there’s a good chance that you’ll eventually get caught out in a spot of rain regardless of how hard you try not to. The Paragon II boots are heavy duty, waterproof motorcycle boots CE certified to level 2/1/1 which is one of the highest levels of protection and comes with a TPU heel and shin protector as well as the rubberised ankle protector and anti-twist reinforcement from the integral shank to the mid-sole, offer further impact support. A poorly fitting helmet may not only be uncomfortable, more noisy and may move around when riding if too big or give headaches etc if it is too small, it is also dangerous. A helmet simply will not protect or perform as designed if the head inside it is not snuggly fitted against the impact absorbing material inside the shell.Leather Leather Leather boots offer good abrasion protection as well as being a natural wind defence. (5) I have fairly wide feet and the footbed – albeit thin – and the body of the boot also fit nicely, with no squeezing. I usually take an EU44 in motorcycle boots (UK 9.5 whereas I normally take a UK 9 in shoes) and in some boots, this can feel a little loose – I guess by virtue of the fact they are slightly larger than my actual foot size. It’s waterproof, featuring a Hipora three-layer, micro-porous silicone coated, waterproof and breathable membrane, which delivers superior levels of protection from the elements. This along with the heel vents keep you comfortable and dry during your ride. Know what these are and how they will protect your foot and you will be OK. They are nice three-season boots but aren’t really the tool for the job is you want to ride in very cold or wet conditions. But for cooler or rides where you may get a shower, then they are good.

One of the most tactile, touchy-feely parts of your bike are its control levers, for the front brake and clutch. But it’s also true that they’re one of the most vulnerable components in even a low-speed crash meaning that at some point, you may need to get replacement ones. The sole and toe cap are thin enough to give feel without too much vibration. The soles are very grippy even when my foot pegs have been wet. When raining, I was wearing RST trousers over the boots and they didn't let in any water.Consider pairing them with a matching pair of RST gloves for extra style points at your next bike meet! Full-Grain leather refers to the strongest, most durable part of the hide located just beneath the hair. This type of leather lends itself perfectly to motorcycle boots as it’s more water-resistant and hard-wearing. PU Coated Touring Touring Similar to racing boots, touring boots are designed specifically for riding a motorcycle on the road.

However, the Paragon II fits me nicely so you might want to try a size larger than normal if you are considering a pair. I’ve used them year-round and they are great in spring, summer and autumn, in rain showers and cooler weather. However – and it’s a big however – I have found that they aren’t meant for the depths of winter. Equipped with a breathable Hipora waterproof membrane, TPU-molded shin, ankle, and heel protectors, and an equally impressive level 2/1/1 CE certification, the Paragon’s are built to perform time and time again. The construction also features PU-coated leather and integrated heel vents to increase breathability and ensure that your feet stay dry and warm regardless of the conditions!Features such as the multi-terrain sole and ratchet fasteners elevate the Adventure 2’s above everything else on this list when riding in tough conditions. I have owned the boots for two weeks and covered around 400 miles with a mix of commuting and weekend rides on a Shiver 750.
