About this deal

We’ve said it a million times, but right now there couldn’t be a better time to commit to using the same ball every time you play. It gives consistency and similar results, which for most club golfers would be a decent step forward from using the different balls they find. DTC brands often offer discounts when you buy more, so if you can invest in five dozen for the year, it means you’ll get the best possible price, too. Can you tell the difference between the balls? The final point worth mentioning is that no manufacturer can buy a good review because our testing team tells it how it is. How to choose golf balls

Snell: Dean Snell – Inventor or co-inventor of the Titleist Pro V1, TaylorMade TP, Penta, Project (a), and Tour Preferred. Another new aspect to talk about is the unique Stripe option, which features a lime green and grey coloured band that wraps around the ball. Now, this look won't be for everyone, but we felt it created a very clear alignment aid off the tee and on the green. When you putt, the stripe clearly shows how effectively the ball is rolling end-over-end. Usually you'll have a premium, urethane cover, multi layered ball aimed at the more skilled player with a faster swing. There's generally a lower spinning version of that. Think ProV1 and ProV1x or TaylorMade TP5 and TP5x.

On the subject of price, the Polara doesn’t come cheap but they should last you longer than the average golf ball because they’re much harder to lose! Bauer Media Group consists of : Bauer Consumer Media Ltd, Company number 01176085; Bauer Radio Limited,

The My Tour Ball is a phenomenal all-around performer from tee to green. Take that performance and combine it with the lowest price of any ball in this tests we can’t think of any reason why you shouldn’t try Snell’s My Tour Ball. I was expecting comparisons between ProV1 and other big name OEM’s, but it was nice to find the other balls that we never get a chance to test because they are not carried on local golf shops. Imagine the fun you can have with a box of these bad boys three unsuspecting golf pals completely in the dark about it. Even with the ugliest of swings you're hitting fairway after fairway, much to their surprise and annoyance, while you try to downplay it by muttering things like "I've really got it going today" or "I wish I could play like this every week". The type of ball you play is important but the brand you buy is far less so. The compression of the ball you use can make a difference, as can the quality of the cover or the softness of the feel. The name on it? Not really.Any golf ball manufacturer claiming their ball is significantly better than their competition is, let's be kind and say having delusions of grandeur.

Without boring you with the specifics, the dimples are set up in a way that allows the ball to straighten itself in the air. The ball has to be aligned a certain way for it to function correctly, which is of course easy to do from the tee but not really possible on the fairway unless you are playing lift and place winter rules. I genuinely appreciate your article and everyone who has followed up with comments. I think, for a lot of us, we like to play brands that are not mainstream/shoved down our throat OEM equipment. Perhaps the boutique nature of these balls will spawn a similar path with clubs in the near future.
