Model XBU02PT1 is a kit and includes the Blower, four fast-charging 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0Ah batteries and an efficient 18V Dual Port Rapid Optimum Charger. The added mulching function when vacuuming allows more debris to be collected in the 50L bag. The variable speed trigger allows the user to find the ideal speed whilst the cruise control function allows you to set and adjust the speed easily. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18V Lithium-Ion system, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries. The XBU02PT features Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™). XPT™ is a protective seal inside the tool, and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. Built-in fan circulates air through the battery during the charging process to cool the battery for faster charge time. Powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC motor drive system.

The Makita DUB362Z 36v LXT Brushless Blower Bare Unit is a 36v brushless cordless blower. It is powered by 2 x 18v Li-Ion batteries which makes this the most powerful cordless blower in its class and with a maximum air volume of 13.4 m³/min and a maximum air velocity of 54 m/sec. The motor is brushless which makes it more efficient, meaning longer runtimes per battery charge. It gains around 30% extra by running the 18v batteries in series to give power of 36v. The DUB362Z can use any combination of Makita 3.0Ah, 4.0Ah, and 5.0Ah batteries at the same time, but the machine will stop running when either of the batteries has lost their charge, a fuel gauge indicates the remaining charge left on the batteries.
