About this deal

Miele do have factories in china but as of now, their vacuum cleaners are actually made at the Bielefeld factory in Germany. The Miele ovens are also made in Germany. Miele put the work into the durability of their vacuum cleaners and it pays off in a vacuum that’s built to last.

The HEPA filter has been designed to remove even the finest dust particles and airborne allergens – the perfect remedy for anyone with dust allergies. On an inexpensive rug in the lounge, our two canine assistants did a fine job of scruffling a solid layer of hair into the pile. The mix of short, chunky Labrador hairs and longer, finer Collie hairs create a good test – but proved no match for the CX1 Cat & Dog. No, or rather you can actually reuse the bag through a janky method but it’s a false economy that will lead to dust leaking out and you ending up having to replace the motor which is much more expensive. The same goes for buying off-brand bags, they don’t filter as well and will end up doing more costly damage to your vacuum over time. I have had this vacuum cleaner for a couple of years, and I am disappointed in it, wish I hadn't bought it and I will never buy another Miele product ever. When approaching stairs, the Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog PowerLine has the same issue as its siblings – it’s weighty to carry and too large to sit comfortably on average UK household steps. It has the ability to stand upright on its rear, but even this presents a pretty large footprint that’s likely to hang over the step edge.

This is the latest and greatest of pretty much any robot vacuum cleaner, brand new technology allows for a more thorough cleaning of your house. Henry Hoovers are similar in price to the basic C1 model but if you’re wanting a better vacuum it’s going to cost more for a Miele. Enter the Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog. Based on the manual power controlled Excellence model, this bagless cylinder cleaner adds Miele’s Cat & Dog floorhead to the tool roster. We’ve been impressed by this tool on some of Miele’s other pet-centric cleaners. Its air-powered rotating brush bar with twin rows of stiff nylon bristles are very effective for all-round carpet cleaning duties. The EU brought in new regulations limiting vacuum cleaners to a power of less than 900 w to increase energy efficiency. My top choice for the best Miele Vacuum Cleaner, the Blizzard CX1 powerline Bagless vacuum cleaner.

Our carpet and hard-floor test results with this head were a replica of those achieved with the same head on the CX1 Excellence model. Simply put: superb cleaning right up to the skirting edge, with only a few heavier grains of test powder showing on the carpet after a single pass. Pictures of that test can be found here. However, the Miele robot vac is still a good one, my quibbles are with all robot vacs, not just this one. It’s got an excellent run time of 2 hours and can make its way around 150 square meters of floor. FJM dustbags are compatible with Complete C1, Compact C1, C2, S6, and S4 models. GN dustbags are for Complete C2, C3, Classic C1, S8, S5, and S2 models. No air relief valve - yes that old simple hole in the handle that reduces suction - which is fantastic on carpet but its a bicep workout moving the head around - giving my wife the excuse she needs to ensure the vacuuming is on my to-do list.... I can see the idea of a robot vacuum cleaner being a good one, but your money is better spent on a better quality vacuum cleaner in my opinion.
