About this deal

The first recorded uses of the skull-and-crossbones symbol on naval flags date to the 17th century. Over the years many different musicians have recorded and released their versions of the Danger Man theme tune. The cover of Iron Maiden's album A Matter of Life and Death (2006) includes a version of a Jolly Roger depicting a helmeted Eddie and two assault rifles instead of bones, hanging from a tank. I am missing a few editions which I will add if/when I obtain them. If you can help fill the gaps it'd be great to hear from you!

When the M9 regional controller is captured in Bulgaria, Drake must effect a rescue before he talks under torture. Drake has a surprise when he receives a telephone call from an old enemy named Miguel Torres. Torres asks for Drake's help in preventing an assassination. Drake takes the place of an ex-convict recruited as an assassin by an organisation which believes its mission is to eliminate undesirable world leaders (identified in the episode as the Knights Templar). When sent on his first assignment, Drake allows his victim to escape, revealing his identity. For another the setting is about as groovy as you could want. At the time we didn't have many licensed radio stations in the UK and the inability of the BBC stations to cater to the audience for pop music led to a proliferation of pirate radio stations. Naturally pirate radio continues, but the setting places the episode firmly in the latest trends in 1960s Britain. A Hong Kong radio station is embedding secrets in its broadcasts. Drake gets a job there to find out who is the spy.Simon also says if a captain wasn't doing a good job, they could be voted out, usually to be replaced with the second-in-command. Rodney Marshall has recently released two new books. The first 'Lone Wolf - A fans guide to Danger Man' is a guide to the half hour series.

Which girl is telling the truth? This is the problem that faces Drake when a refugee from a mid-European country flees to England and pleads for political asylum.Crossbones: The crossbones are often positioned behind or beneath the skull and create an "X" shape. They symbolize crossed swords or bones, signifying violence and conflict. I'm delighted to announce the publication of a new book by John Buss that lists in detail the many Danger Man and Prisoner collectibles. The last message from an M9 agent in Africa reveals that China is about to gain a foothold in a country where Britain has financial interests. Drake is sent to discredit the Chinese.

Francis Spriggs is reported to have flown a Jolly Roger identical to one of Low's, from whom he had deserted: "a white Skeliton in the Middle of it, with a Dart in one Hand striking bleeding Heart, and in the other, an Hour-Glass." [6] John Drake’s arrival is met with suspicion from the rest of the radio station crew which included real-life singer Patsy Ann Noble as ‘Susie Wade’, Wilfred Lawson as the drunken cook ‘Corrigan’, Andrew Faulds as the no nonsense ‘Mullins’ and Edwin Richfield and Lisa Daniely as ‘The Janson’s’, the stations’ owners. The episode was partly filmed on Red Sands Fort, a discussed World War II Anti-Aircraft Fort which at the time was the home of real pirate radio station ‘Radio 390’ which began broadcasting in September 1965 but was forced to close a year later due to new government broadcasting laws.A woman working as a cipher clerk at the American embassy in London travels to Italy with her new fiancee. Drake follows to find out whether it is true love.
