About this deal

LOW: Controls the amount of low frequencies within the reverb, with damped low-end at minimum to no damping at maximum. For Mono INPUT and Stereo OUTPUT on our small 2 footswitch pedals: Connect a standard mono TS instrument cable into the INPUT and connect a mono TS instrument cable to both the LEFT and RIGHT OUTPUTS of the pedal. ( excludes Compadre, Riverside, and Sunset) The BigSky’s connectivity is a big factor in why it's used by so many different guitarists. It’s got dedicated stereo in and outs, meaning it’ll work just as well in complex stereo guitar rigs as it will as a tool in the studio. It’s also got MIDI in and out that allows you to control any of the pedal's parameters from a MIDI foot controller. IN: High impedance, ultra low-noise, discrete Class A JFET preamp input. TRS adapter cable required for stereo input signal. If there is DC offset in the audio signal, it helps eliminate popping in the audio when engaging and bypassing the pedal.

Yes, the Strymon Blue Sky is designed to provide clarity and presence in a live gig setting. Its high-quality reverbs are known to blend well with other instruments and cut through the mix without getting lost. How would you describe the sound quality of the Strymon Blue Sky? From the factory, blueSky’s bypass mode is set to True Bypass with the option to be set to Buffered Bypass. There are several benefits to setting blueSky to Buffered Bypass mode: Our most profound moment with the Cloudburst however, happened when we paired it with other esoteric pedals, such as the Chase Bliss Mood or the Hologram Electronics Microcosm. In tandem with either of these, the Cloudburst is transformed into a glitchy weapon of lo-fi ambience that Thom Yorke could write an album on top of. To save the current state of the pedal to the currently loaded preset location, press and hold the FAV footswitch until the LED lights BLUE. You can switch each Plate, Room and Spring algorithm into Normal, Mod and Shimmer mode. This creates a total of 9 separate individual reverb sounds, from there you can tweak to your hearts content using Pre-Delay, Damping and Decay controls.PURPLE – SEND PC, OTHER – MIDI PC and Sysex messages generated by blueSky are sent to the MIDI OUT. Without a doubt, the Strymon Blue Sky is considered worth every penny by many guitarists and reviewers in the music industry. Its high-quality sound, wide range of reverb types, and versatility make it a valuable addition to any rig. How does the Strymon Blue Sky compare to other reverb pedals like the Eventide Space?

True/buffered bypass, for a 100% unprocessed signal or a conditioned signal with preserved high-end integrity. The Strymon Blue Sky is a more compact and affordable version of the Big Sky. While it offers a wide range of reverb settings and high fidelity, the Big Sky provides even more reverb options and additional features. Is the Strymon Blue Sky suitable for stereo setups? CONTROLS Decay, Pre-delay, Low, High, Mix, Shimmer, three-way Verb switch (spring, plate, room), three-way Mod switch (off/light/deep), on/off footswitch, favourite footswitch, mono/stereo input switch

Two favorites from the Strymon canon of high-functioning digital effects pedals return, new and improved, with discrete JFET input circuits promising ultra-low noise. Time to upgrade?

The MIDI implementation is a huge performance upgrade that’s more than worth the added cost, if only for being able to save and access 300 presets instead of the previous pair that were only available via the optional Miniswitch Favorite function. It’s entirely possible to use it with just a basic knowledge of pedals and some knob twisting of course, but that’s kind of like buying a supercar and never stretching its legs by pushing the limit on the highway.
