Unlike our other study Bibles reviewed, this Bible is not specifically geared for women but I loved the life application approach either way. It is worthy to note that a reference bible is different from a study bible. A reference bible has been defined as one in which brief explanations, and references to parallel passages, are printed in the margin of the text, reference bibles provide cross referencing and reproduces the exact bible text without articles, study notes or book introductions.
