About this deal

Since the top, protective layer has been removed, the car now needs to be waxed on a regular basis to prevent corrosion. Waxing is a vital step to remember, as the last thing you want to do, when removing damage from a car, leaves it vulnerable to more damage at a later date. Well-loved and never beaten, T-Cut original has been removing imperfections from our paintwork since 1954. It restores colour, removes scratches, and adds extra lustre.

The T in Tcut stands for “ Tetrosyl Cutting Oil ”. How T-Cut works What is the car scratch remover good for?T-Cut Colour Fast – Removes scratches, scuffs and blemishes whilst adding colour. Suitable for red, white, blue or silver car paint. On machine though and we see that T-Cut is well up there in terms of performance, lining up favourably against cutting polishes for correction ability and its finishing ability. It can cut as well as #83, worked long enough it will approach #84 yet retain #83's ability to finish down to an LSP ready finish. It really isn't as bad as its reputation suggests when you really work the product on a machine polisher. a>

It’s worth stating now that if you’re seeing flashes of metalwork, you’ll probably need a scratch/chip repair kit. These have a three-step process to replace the primer, repaint the colour and add the clear top coat. Once you’ve followed these steps, a surface scratch remover or car polish will help even out your clear coat application. Do car scratch removers really work? So - in summary, is T-Cut really as bad as we say?? Well, when working by hand it can certainly be argues so as it is very difficult to break down the abrasives suitably and while it can certainly correct, arguably better than just about any other hand polish, it cannot finish down very well. However, it would make a great option by hand for severe defect removal so long as you were willing to follow with a lighter finishing polish such as ScratchX.

When not to use T Cut

As mentioned before, T-Cut is only really suitable for removing shallow, surface scratches from a car due to it working by removing the top layer of paint to restore a scratch. Once the scratch has gone, you need to take another clean cloth and remove the excess product. Again, this can be done with circular motions, and will ensure a buffed up finish. Not to mention, through buffing any excess tcut away, you remove any potential damage from unnecessary drips. This depends. If you are running an old car into the ground until its dying day, at which point you intend on scrapping it, or selling it for parts, then scratch repair is neither cost nor time efficient. Yes, T-Cut can be used to improve headlight clarity and light visibility by removing haziness from clear, plastic headlights. It can also be used on window and plastic glass to improve clarity and add shine. To do so though, ensure you buy the right version of T-Cut. Coloured versions will not help with restoring headlights, for obvious reasons. Can it remove excess lacquer?
