About this deal

Failure to return the product to Anycubic within 7 business days after the replacement has been confirmed by Anycubic. Finally, what makes the Mono X stand out is the size of the print area. AnyCubic has designed the printer and resin vat in such a way to maximise the print area while keeping the amount required in the vat to a manageable amount. Set-up overview While, for the most part, it's plane sailing, there are a few quirks and a step learning process compared with FFF printing.

These affordable mid-sized resin printers are going to be game-changers for a lot of people. Being able to print a resin model of comparable size to an FDM printer means you can create prints with a far greater level of detail without the added irritation of cutting them up first. The Mono X, especially coupled with the Wash and Cure Plus, is the perfect choice for this mid-size market. It's striking to look at, prints exceptionally detailed models, and does so at speeds I wouldn't have thought possible. Overall the print quality is exceptional, and comparing a print from this against an FFF 3D Printer and the print quality difference is easy to see. Layer markings are far less defined, and you can print much more complex models. Next, resin printing gets better with experience, and the more you use the software and learn the best way to apply supports, the more success you will have. While small print sizes limit other similar LCD-based SLA 3D printers, the Mono X brings print sizes that we're come to expect from FFF and higher-end SLA printers. When printing transparent or translucent resin, the UV power can be adjusted between 45% and 50% to present better printing results.

The upgraded version of the self-developed Anycubic Photon Workshop 3.0 slicer offers you a wide range of versatile possibilities: Punching, propping, peeling and arranging layouts. Professional, free and with a simplified user interface! With a print volume of 4.76 litres and a build space of 195.84 x 122.4 x 200 mm, you can afford to print larger models as well as perform multiple prints in one pass. Increased efficiency is guaranteed! The UV power of a 3D printer is the intensity of the ultraviolet (UV) light source used to cure the resin during the printing process, and it is a measure of the energy delivered per unit area of resin. UV power is measured in watts per square centimeter (W/cm²) and determines the rate at which the resin cures. Higher UV power cures the resin faster and correspondingly faster print speeds. Different UV power levels will have an impact on the quality and efficiency of the print. Adjusting the UV power according to the needs is one of the practical printing skills. It's also worth doing this if you leave the resin sat in the vat for more than 24hours. More than 48 hours in the open and I found the resin should be disposed of. Final verdict Returning items claimed to have defects but found by Anycubic quality control to be in working condition Within 15 calendar days of receiving the product request a return for an exchange, if the product does not match the original description of the product in one or more significant respects.

The Photon Mono X 6Ks is equipped with the optimised Anycubic LightTurbo matrix light source and with a high-precision optical lens. The combination of these two components creates a stable and uniform light source with parallel light beams. This eliminates optical layers and grid lines, leaving smooth and fine model surfaces. The recommended printing parameters above is for reference only, which is more suitable for Anycubic resin. Within 30 calendar days of receiving the product request a return for an exchange, if the product suffers performance failure.

AnyCubic has come up with a simple lift on and off solution, it's not the most elegant solution that I've seen, but there's no faulting its effectiveness. While the applications auto supports are good, the settings need quite a bit of adjustment to get them right. When it comes to support removal, they're best removed after washing and before curing; the resin plastic is extremely hard once cured.

The Photon Mono X 6Ks is equipped with a 9.1-inch HD monochrome display with a resolution of up to 5760 x 3600 pixels. With a contrast ratio of 380:1, sharp and finer details can be displayed. The serial number of the defective product and/or visible evidence describing the defect may be required. It may be simple, but sensors detect whether the shield is in place or not; if not, the machine will sit idle until the shield is in place. There is little to fault when it comes to ease of set-up and use, and you can get up and running with your first print within an hour of opening the box. Customer Reviews

Using UV to expose prints is a technical process, and any fluctuations in temperature can affect the success of the print. Within the machines base is a complex cooling system to help regulate the machine and extend its usable life. However, there are a few notes to the prints. Firstly supports are key to the success of your prints, so spending time ensuring that there are enough of them and that they're all in the right place is essential. Looking inside the machine, you can see that AnyCubic has carefully looked at the robustness of the design with dual linear rails and solid lead screw to help reduce the risk of layer shift. Then the resin vat is then bolted in place, and it's just a case of following the brief instructions on screen, making sure the build plate is flat and then tightening the screws. You're now ready to print.
