Roots Our study contributes to an understanding of perceptions of self-harm in evangelical communities in three principal ways. Firstly, the stories illuminated that when self-harm was positioned as solely caused by demonic or other spiritual aetiological forces, it was seen as negative, often resulting in more stigmatisation and decreased attention to relational care. This suggests that evangelical Christians may perceive exclusively spiritual accounts of self-harm and mental illness in negative ways. Secondly, analysis of the stories suggested that when psychological illness was attributed to an individual’s personal sin, rendering self-harm and mental illness as incongruent with a Christian identity, the individual was robbed of agency in relation to their recovery and placed in a passive position. In this position, Summer’s recovery was jeopardised and she was pushed into a subject position of passivity and helplessness. This is a useful finding for pastoral care and may inform future practice by prioritising the need for a strengthening of genuine pastoral and relational care alongside spiritual interventions, which value agency and autonomy. Finally, the study has highlighted that females with mental illness within evangelical communities may be perceived as passive, youthful, and, at times, emotionally volatile. Lloyd and Harumi's relationship would change forever in " Dragon Form." Upon learning that the Overlord was the one who corrupted the Great Devourer, Harumi realized that Lloyd and the ninja were never the ones to blame for her parents' death. Harumi joined Garmadon and Lloyd in the fight against the Overlord and, although not shown, Lloyd was happy to see the goodness inside Harumi finally shine through. In " A Fragile Hope," while in the dungeon, Lloyd meets Kataru, realizing he’s Akita's brother whom she thought was dead and vice versa, in the Ice Emperor's dungeon. Despite being the ninja who was featured the least in this season, Lloyd was the mascot ninja for the sets. The collectible items were the Aeroblades. This caused him to feel conflicted over seeing his father again but dealing with a threat to everyone. In " Green Destiny," Lloyd was reunited with his friend and gladly fought off the Sons of Garmadon with his aid. Jay was happy to see Lloyd defeated his father and regained his powers as a result.
