Quentin Blake, der viele Bücher Dahls illustriert hat, hat mich mit seinen Illustrationen immer erfreuen können. So ist es auch bei diesem Buch. David Walliams hat mich sehr stark an Roald Dahl erinnert, während die Illustrationen von Tony Ross denen Blakes nicht unähnlich sind. Eine wundervolle Zusammenarbeit bei der dieses lesenswerte Mammut-Abenteuer entstanden ist. First children's book I have read was Matilda by Roald Dahl and I absolutely loved it. From then on my love for children books has grown. This is my first read of David Walliams so I had more expectations and I wasn't disappointed.
