Earfun Free Pro worth it? Even without an app and real Is Earfun Free Pro worth it? Even without an app and real

The EarFun Air's buds are not exactly small, but they're still comfortable. (Image credit: TechRadar) EarFun Air review: design and features The buds themselves are well-weighted, comfortable and secure in our ears, with the stems angling slightly forward to follow the line of our cheekbones. The silvery sheen on the angular and stylish new stems completes a premium aesthetic that belies the Earfun Air Pro’s entry-level price point. Beyond those three profiles, there’s no scope to tweak the levels of noise-cancelling, and without app support you can’t activate them on your phone. However, once we get the hang of tapping just below the mic at the top of the stem rather than on the mic itself, it’s a solution that works well.During call-handling, both our voice and the caller’s is clear and the driver housings respond perfectly to our touch when accepting or declining calls, without the need to dig out our phone. Overall, I do really like how the EarFun Air sound when it comes to listening to music or watching some shows. Microphone Quality Hello. I need to buy some foam earths for these Earfun Air earbuds. Was looking at comply but wasn't sure what size to go for. Do you know which size would fit or any other's you could steer me in the direction of. In the event that the EarFun Air earbuds lose their pairing with your phone, or for pairing with a new device, pressing the small, circular button situated between the earbuds in the Charging Case for 2 seconds initiates a re-pairing mode. I should note here than I never had to re-pair the EarFun Air earbuds with my iPhone XR, not even once. This is a huge win and something that has never happened with any of the true wireless earbuds that I’ve reviewed.

EarFun Air Review – EarFun TW200 Wireless Earbuds

Similarly, Hootie and the Blowfish’s Only Wanna Be With You is handled with admirable timing, but the strummed banjo rhythm through the intro isn’t quite as three-dimensional as we might hope, and there’s a small loss of insight at higher frequencies. It’s not a massive sonic issue for a product at this price, but worth noting nonetheless. Elsewhere, the EarFun Air offers a lot of everything else you could want. There's wireless charging which continues to be the most effort-free way of recharging earbuds.

Listening to music like Foo Fighters' All My Life sounds suitably punchy and enthusiastic. Alternatively, something like David Bowie's Under Pressure sounds suitably crisp. Every word of Eminem's My Name Is is clear and potent no matter how fast it gets. The weakness here? Trebles are a touch muddled, and nothing is quite as revolutionary as with more expensive buds – spending a little more on the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 Plus will open up more from your music, no question. A fine EQ can squeeze out a clearer lower midrange and reduce some of it’s mid-bass bleed without ruining the rest of the mids. Listen to the slightly pricier, Award-winning Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 and, in comparison, there’s an extra ounce of detail and finesse over the Earfun Air Pro across the frequencies. But without noise cancelling, USB-C charging or in-ear detection, and taking their higher price tag into account, it’s an altogether different proposition. The EarFun Air True Wireless Earbuds are great for sports and fitness, because of their IPX7 water-resistant rating. The sound performance is great for the price tags, great level of bass, but can’t compare to the high-end like Sony WF-1000XM3 or Bose QuietComfort Earbuds. The buds are quiet as a mouse while on standby / in quiet sections of music, probably the quietest among the handfull of bluetooth earbuds I have at hand. They don't have noticeable delay with either device (20ms-ish on youtube), and support AAC/SBC codecs.
