From a safety perspective, it's great like I said aids what children should wear and also helps decide about windows open in the day and how to manage climate control and central heating fans and some friends even have air conditioning units I think it also makes a good night light it is a warming colour which I like.

If it can double up as a nightlight it would add so much as a feature for as the baby grows but also for a toddler to use. It would a great feature to have the amber light as an option to turn on in nightlight ‘mode’ rather than having it glow blue for example…An easy digital temperature display and colour coded temperature range so you can easily tell when it's time to adjust the baby's clothing. Fiona: It is an excellent product for providing some safeguarding information. It provide easy information for how to dress the child at night, a time at which you are always understandbly nervous as to how to dress them. The colours also provide a night light to give a small section of light to use at night. So as a product to make life easier as a mum I would thoroughly recommend it. Would you recommend this product to other parents? A room thermometer will help monitor the nursery's temperature and give parents peace of mind, and many models can be used to measure bath water too, so you only need to buy one thermometer to serve both purposes.
Alexandra: Yes I would I am not aware of many products which tell you the temperature of the room and give yoh a guide in this way I like the warm night light and compared to other night lights it doesn't get too hot which is fantastic as little hand get everywhere I have also been concerned with lights that get hot. If you want a more budget-friendly option, this fun and bright thermometer is a good no-frills buy. As well as the colour-changing feature, the Groegg2 also functions as a kids' nightlight. Its silicone dome emits a soft glow - although this might not be enough light to help you navigate midnight nappy changes - and there are three different light levels to choose from to provide a calming environment for your baby. You can also turn the light off completely if you want to. Key specsI used it daily during a heatwave last year when my daughter was a newborn as I was worried about my flat being too warm and I found it easy to move around the house wherever she was napping. One thing to note is that the Groegg2 responds to body heat when held, so it needs to be placed on a flat surface to display the correct temperature. The correct temperature also takes around one minute to be displayed if I hold the unit and then put it down. Many bath thermometers also double up as a bath toy for added value.
