About this deal

If a baby gets too warm, there's an increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), also known as cot death.

Item ready for collection (Please wait until you receive this second SMS before you come into the store to collect your items) Alexandra: Yes I would recommend the Tommee Tippee GroEgg2. From a safety perspective, it's great like I said aids what children should wear and also helps decide about windows open in the day and how to manage climate control and central heating fans and some friends even have air conditioning units I think it also makes a good night light it is a warming colour which I like.

Hard to tell. While it certainly doesn’t disturb my daughter when she’s asleep, there’s no real way of me knowing whether the Groegg2 helps to calm her down. Peace of mind at a glance - The Tommee Tippee Groegg2 digital room thermometer changes colour to indicate the temperature of the room so you can adapt your child’s bedding, clothing or room temperature accordingly. The soft silicone dome-shaped room thermometer features a permanently lit LED display for an accurate temperature reading of the room. Can the Groegg2 be used as a night light? A: Yes, the Groegg2 has a soft glow night light feature. You can select from four different brightness levels, and it provides a gentle and comforting light for the room (enough light for you to stumble your way out of there when they fall asleep!)

Can the Groegg2 be powered by batteries? A: No, the Groegg2 needs to be connected to a power source using the included AC power adapter. It doesn’t have a battery option for power. You can also buy room thermometers that double up as bath thermometers to measure the temperature of babies bath water. Rachel: I think the flaw of the product is it’s longevity. If it can double up as a nightlight it would add so much as a feature for as the baby grows but also for a toddler to use. It would a great feature to have the amber light as an option to turn on in nightlight ‘mode’ rather than having it glow blue for example…An easy digital temperature display and colour coded temperature range so you can easily tell when it's time to adjust the baby's clothing. Fiona: It is an excellent product for providing some safeguarding information. It provide easy information for how to dress the child at night, a time at which you are always understandbly nervous as to how to dress them. The colours also provide a night light to give a small section of light to use at night. So as a product to make life easier as a mum I would thoroughly recommend it. Would you recommend this product to other parents? A room thermometer will help monitor the nursery's temperature and give parents peace of mind, and many models can be used to measure bath water too, so you only need to buy one thermometer to serve both purposes.

Alexandra: Yes I would I am not aware of many products which tell you the temperature of the room and give yoh a guide in this way I like the warm night light and compared to other night lights it doesn't get too hot which is fantastic as little hand get everywhere I have also been concerned with lights that get hot. If you want a more budget-friendly option, this fun and bright thermometer is a good no-frills buy. As well as the colour-changing feature, the Groegg2 also functions as a kids' nightlight. Its silicone dome emits a soft glow - although this might not be enough light to help you navigate midnight nappy changes - and there are three different light levels to choose from to provide a calming environment for your baby. You can also turn the light off completely if you want to. Key specsI used it daily during a heatwave last year when my daughter was a newborn as I was worried about my flat being too warm and I found it easy to move around the house wherever she was napping. One thing to note is that the Groegg2 responds to body heat when held, so it needs to be placed on a flat surface to display the correct temperature. The correct temperature also takes around one minute to be displayed if I hold the unit and then put it down. Many bath thermometers also double up as a bath toy for added value. What temperature should my baby’s room be? Colour coded system (supported by safe sleep experts The Lullaby Trust) making it easy for parents to keep baby comfortable
