About this deal
The biggest change is that the Naga X dramatically reduces the weight of the Pro, dropping from 117 grams to a mere 85 grams. It’s not quite an ultralight, but still feels surprisingly meager given its large size. At the same time, it’s solid shell is structurally solid, with no creaking even when I’m trying to make it happen. This slimming down is a welcome upgrade from the Pro which felt downright heavy in comparison to Razer's other recent mice.

Fast forward to 2021, and Razer now has a quadruple threat of Naga mice, ranging from wired to wireless and even on for left-handed people. Two of the entries, the Razer Naga Pro and Razer Naga Trinity, cater to gamers outside of the MMO space with swappable side panels with different button layouts. When it comes to MMO mice, you're mostly going to look elsewhere within the Naga range for competition. The Naga Pro is the top of the line if you want to go wireless and get swappable side panels. However, it's much more expensive, coming in at nearly double the price of the Naga X. Your baby. His baby. A union of flesh in return for a crumbling business empire, one you know you can raise from the ground like a phoenix shaking off the ash of rebirth. The keys to the kingdom come with a price- but it will be worth it in time. If he wants to interrupt, he can only watch. He can join us once he calms down,” the Viper replies smoothly.

Since 2009, Razer has offered the Naga line of MMO mice, each competing to be the best gaming mouse for MMO players. Each model has offered between 6 and 12 buttons, with updates over the years. Enter 2021, and we have the Razer Naga X with a 12-button thumbpad, RGB and the latest in Razer mouse technology. Overall, the Razer Naga design has not changed a lot, it has a small resting place for your finger on the right side, and the general shape of the mouse fits nicely in your hand. The Naga X is 119.13 x 74.50 x 42.93mm, and it weighs about 110g. However, the Corsair Scimitar is only suited for MMO, and that makes it hard to use as a regular everyday mouse. The changes aren’t limited to weight, however, and the few I noticed first were downgrades. There are no swappable panels, for one, so shifting to a traditional 6-button setup is out of the question. Razer has also changed the finish to a more gritty matte plastic that feels more grainy under the fingers. The rubber grip on the right side of the Pro is now textured plastic and really doesn’t work well to support a mouse of this size, constantly causing my pinky to slip anytime I need to lift it up. That said, this is also a much cheaper mouse and concessions have to be made. Leaving the interchangeable side panels for the higher tier mouse is an acceptable trade-off, but making the Naga X more slippery is not. With Synapse, you can save as many local, custom mouse profiles as you like. Unfortunately, the Naga X's onboard memory only supports a single profile. That's a low number considering the mouse’s price. Bringing Balance to MMO Mice Yes, my pet. Your scent is very strong, but beneath it, I can smell his arousal growing,” the Viper supplied slowly, the smirk on his face almost audible. “Isn’t that perverted? He likes seeing you break apart for me.” That's doubly true when it comes to day-to-day work, though you can get pretty creative with bindings if you want to. Still, unless you play MMOs, you're probably better served by a more standard mouse layout unless you have some unique workflows. Do these mice still have lousy durability? I went through several Nagas during the several years I played WoW, before I finally got the hint to stop buying them. The Corsair Scimitar vs. Razer Naga are both amazing gaming mice that will provide you some amazing gaming experience.
