Before I knew it, I was engrossed by Bernstein's story and the plan she lays out for others to follow on their journey to enlightenment. As a longtime student of *A Course in Miracles,* I could relate to the concepts she discusses and felt that they really resonated with me. However, the universal nature of the message itself will be relevant to any spiritual seeker, whether they be brand new to the Course, have never heard of it, or have been studying it for decades. When I started this book, I was enthusiastic and excited about the content. Everything about the book seemed right up my alley as I'm all about self-love, positivity, enjoying life, etc. When I was first exposed to this lesson from the Course, it was hard for me to remember a time from my past when love fully ran the show. Even as a young child I felt anxious and skittish, and as if something were off-kilter. When I had that fleeting encounter with love during my early meditation days, I knew for sure that the presence of love was missing as a constant in my life. In that fleeting moment during my meditation, I felt it and it was real. Although I was unable to capture it and pin it down at the time, I was able to hang on to its memory for some sense of serenity.Once upon a time, I thought there was no hope for my generation. Nothing short of a miracle could have convinced me otherwise. And I wasn’t holding my breath for that miracle, either. Miracles were things people talked about, but had never seen; much like Big Foot, the chupacabra, and the ghost of Elvis. They weren’t things that really happened, and they certainly didn’t happen to me. They were reserved for sensational headlines like “Miraculous Birth: 90 Year Old Man Gives Birth To a Two Headed Kitten”, and the Christmas classic Miracle on 34th Street; which needless to say was about Santa Claus, another mythical marvel. With one fearful thought we lose love and are thereby separated from our ~ing. This is what the Course calls "dissociation," which it basically defines as "a decision to forget." We chose to forget that we were equally as loveable and worthy as everyone and everything everywhere. Instead we chose to believe in fear and to perceive ourselves as separate in all ways. In some cases we believe we are better than others and special, whereas in other instances we believe we aren't good enough and are lesser-than. This thinking is destructive and unproductive: it leads us nowhere fast.

For those that want to get into practice deeper and take the training to the next level we welcome you to join Gabrielle for this immersive practice. It is only available to those who have graduated from the Spirit Masterclass level 1.This book is based on the teachings of the famous spiritual inspiration book " A Course in Miracles " where the author with great talent, depth and simplicity passes on the message in her own words and way linking it to her own life story with all it's ups and downs depression experience and then her transformation finally reaching her current status as a " Miracle Worker ". Due to its high request rate, it took about a month for me to get this book. I got it on a Friday, finished over breakfast that Sunday morning. Why? What was so attractive about this book? Well, for one, it's an easy accessible read. I've always been curious about reading A Course in Miracles. In fact, I've owned it for close to 9 years and still haven't gotten past the second chapter. "Spirit Junkie" brought the course down to my level. Interweaving lessons from the Course with personal life experience, Gabby's text shines with approachability and interest. memoir กึ่งฮาวทู แต่ทั้งหมดทั้งมวลคือแนวจิตวิญญาณ ถ้า return to love คืองานอธิบาย a course of miracles ฉบับ marianne williamson เล่มนี้คือในฉบับของ gabby เล่า a course ในแบบของเธอ เล่าด้วยภาษาพูด อ่านง่าย น้ำเสียงน่าฟังแบบที่เธอพูดเป็นประจำในยูทูป I think Gabrielle Bernstein will join Diana Cooper& Doreen Virtue: authors I may read and enjoy every book for without taking them THAT seriously.. I really wanted to like this book but it' really trying way too hard to be what it's not! I appreciate what Gabrielle is trying to do but it's not right (~ing, ~ingTervene, ~ingWrite! Really! -_-) That being said, certain chapters like "Spirit Became my Boyfriend" and "Relationships are Assignments" were five stars for me personally although she didn't explore the ideas as thoroughly as I hoped for.. If you've ever wanted someone to explain Marianne Williamson's writings to you using a flippant attitude and valley girl speak, this is your book! The book also serves as a promotional platform for Bernstein's previous title. I never was able to get a solid read on whether Bernstein actually believes what she is saying. A book like this needs to be bolstered by a confident tone from the author.
