My only gripe is we felt it was just too darn cheap for what we received, so I hope they continue to thrive. I am sure they know their margins, but that was worth double what we paid. It was top class, from start to finish. SIGNATURE SERVE: Perfect neat at the end of the day or with a tonic and orange to bring out the citrus botanicals. Nestled in the Angus Glens of Scotland, we create award-winning small batch gins using foraged botanicals & fruit. It’s a hillwalking tradition to seek shelter and warmth after a long day on the hills. For some this is a cosy seat in the nearest pub, for others it’s a night in a bothy with a hip flask. Gin Bothy, one of Scotland’s most established drinks brands has today (Friday 3rd September) unveiled their most progressive product to date, Gin Bothy Smoked Gin, where tradition meets tradition as botanicals are smoked in a fisher smoke house in Arbroath. Based in Angus, Gin Bothy was founded in 2015 by drinks entrepreneur Kim Cameron. Using traditional methods of production every bottle is numbered, batched and poured by hand. Gin Bothy is now one of Scotland’s premium gin brands, producing 60,000 units in 2020. HAND-CRAFTED: All of our Gin Bothy gin's originate from our small distillery in the Angus Glens. Created in small batches of 300 bottles per distillation in a 200 litre traditional copper still, the Gin Bothy hand-turns and hand-batches as part of its production process.

Gary Morrison-Lundie of Alex Spink and Sons said: “Smoking fish in the traditional method in a bothy smokehouse is one of the few traditional skillsets still being passed down the generations, using the same techniques and equipment as generations before us. I bought my 2nd bottle direct and the delivery was impressively fast...loved my mug too and the sloe hip flask....delicious....

The Gin Bothy is a great asset to Glamis and wider Angus and Tayside. All their products are exceptional and a pleasure to send to friends and family, as well as to enjoy oneself. The whole Bothy experience was wonderful. Great staff made us more than welcome and took a great deal of time explaining what we would see and do during our visit.
