About this deal

We’ve enjoyed trialling both these Nespresso machines because they’re an absolute joy to use. While we didn't find too much to differentiate between them in the performance stakes, the Plus does manage to leave more of a lasting impression thanks to its extra features. An enhanced coffee & milk experience and the possibility to easily create an authentic top-quality Latte Art coffee at home.

The Nespresso Creatista Plus Espresso Machine offers a stunning design. The moment I took it out of the box, I was captivated by its gorgeous sheen from the brushed stainless steel finish. In terms of size, it lands somewhere in the middle of not being too gaudy or small to work with. It’s fairly slim in width (12 inches), which allowed me to fit it on my counter without having to do much rearranging. The new Nespresso Creatista Plus lets you enjoy café-style quality coffee whatever your personal preference. Due to its fully-automatic steam wand, you can now create perfectly textured milk set to your ideal temperature. Add a Barista’s touch to your coffee, and use Creatista’s frothy milk to design your own latte art. We perfected the coffee, now it’s your turn to perfect the milk.So if you are looking for simplicity then go for the Uno and if you are looking for a thorough pre-set menu go for the Pro. Adjustment Settings In terms of cons, this machine does not come with a water dispenser. So you won't be able to make an Americano with this machine alone, you will need a separate kettle. If you’re selecting a milk-based coffee, then fill the supplied aluminium jug with milk to the minimum or maximum level, place it under the steaming wand while making sure to position the jug over the little plastic sensor, which slightly resembles a nipple. Now select your preferred milky mixture – cappuccino, flat white, latte or latte macchiato – and the machine will start operating at both ends, extracting the coffee while the wand does its swooshy frothing thing. When finished, simply pour the hot, frothy milk from the jug into your coffee cup and, well, that’s it. For people who want barista-quality coffee without the hassle of operating a complicated machine, the Creatista Plus is worth the fairly high price tag. 3. How often do I need to descale the Nespresso Creatista Plus?

If you’re a fan of creating latte art, you will definitely appreciate the fact that this machine comes with a stainless steel barista milk jug that has a pour spout specifically designed for that purpose. The Creatista Plus comes with a 480 ml stainless steel jug, as well as a complimentary welcome set of 16 different Nespresso coffee capsules with varying flavor and aromatic profiles. The Nespresso Creatista Plus is the second most advanced Nespresso machine, after the Creatista Pro. This machine comes with all the bells and whistles while having a beautiful stainless steel design with a large color LCD green.

How easy is it to use?

There are eight beverage selections in total, including ristretto, espresso, lungo, flat white, cappuccino, latte macchiato, cafe latte, and milk froth. The coffee volume can be adjusted per capsule, which is nice for extra customization. I used this machine to make espresso shots, lungos, flat whites, cappuccinos, and lattes. I found that overall, the drinks I made were all very consistent. Each was also incredibly full-flavored by the dark espresso. One of the common threads between these 3 Nespresso machines is how user-friendly they are. They are designed to be convenient and intuitive to operate making it as easy as possible to create high-quality coffee at home.

It depends on the hardness of your water and how much coffee you make. Don’t worry, the machine will alert you when it is time to descale. The Creatista Pro can brew and steam simultaneously (220V - 240V Models), whereas the Creatista Plus cannot. You can also choose between 11 milk temperature options, eight textures, and several drink volumes. This programmability gives you a lot of freedom in getting the drink according to your preferences. However, although you can choose between 11 temperatures for milk, you don’t have this option for coffee, which is something I’d like to have.Creatista Vertuo doesn’t use pressure to brew coffee as the above Creatista models. Instead, it uses patented Nespresso centrifusion technology. This means the pod has a barcode printed on its edge. The Creatista Vertuo reads the barcode and automatically adjusts the brewing parameters. The pod spins 7,000 times a minute to create espresso with a rich crema.
