I spoke with Bruce who was most helpful and didn't try to hard sell any particular keyboard. If in doubt speak to the team. The quality is spectacular, it works and looks as new after 4 years. Ninja key caps make for a wow effect. This wear and tear is starting to concern me ever so slightly, I’m worried it’ll eventually (a couple more years yet) wear through and stop working. I think a braided cable may have helped in this scenario.

Philippe17/09/2020I bought this keyboard in Mar2014, exclusively for work (I'm a programmer), 2 years after I got a blue switch model for home. The Majestouch Lumi S is a special edition of the Majestouch 2. What makes this keyboard special is the skull pattern graphic found on top of the keyboard, as well as its luminescent property. These two elements make the Filco look unique compared to the more minimalistic look that most Filco keyboards have. Overall I was thoroughly impressed at first glance, I’m hoping the rest of my review measures will be just as impressive. Let’s move on and take a look at my thoughts on the build quality. FILCO Majestouch 2 Review Build Quality & Styling I did sort of cover this keyboard in a previous article, I discussed my top 5 keyboard makers of which, Filco is definitley one of them. It’s been a while since I last reviewed a keyboard, but because this one is my daily driver I’m in a great position to give it the review it deserves. FILCO MAJESTOUCH-2 Review For me, a keyboard is like a carpenter's hammer. I use it all day, almost every day. This is probably the best keyboard I've every had (and I've over a dozen over the past 30 years).Keyboard is of very solid construction and I have nothing to complain about wrt it. tenkeylessmodel is perfectly sized. The style of the keycaps made this keyboard look very clean. It is also what made the Majestouch Ninja a true stealth warrior. Of course, today, there are plenty of high-quality keycaps that utilize various methods such as double-shot and dye-sublimation. And lastly, it is compatible with both PS/2 and USB. Using it over PS/2 allows users to maximize its N-Key rollover potential. Overall, the Filco Majestouch 2 is the closest thing users will get to an endgame prebuilt keyboard that works perfectly for any task. Despite all the new features and the completely redesigned structure of the MINILA series, the premium typing experience is still maintained. It is equipped with Cherry MX switches and is just as high-quality as the other Filco keyboards. The Majestouch-2 features N key roll over, which basically means you can press as many keys as you want and it’ll have no problem what so ever registering your keystrokes.

Aside from this, its switches, the design, build quality, and functionality of the Majestouch 2 S is very similar to the regular model. This means that you can expect the same solid typing experience from the Majestouch 2 on this model. My only major issue so far is with the spacebar. It has one cherry MX switch in the middle, and then a metal bar going horizontally with plastic holds at the end, rather than 3 cherry switches.

I thought I’d destroyed a perfectly good keyboard as it stopped working immediately, it also caused some crazy things to happen with my PC such as opening programs on it’s own and eventually shut it’s self down. Alistair29/07/2021This keyboard is excellent. It feels sturdy, the keys aren't overly loud and it's very satisfying for typing. I owned a much cheaper blue switch keyboard before and this keyboard requires less pressure for typing and is quieter as well. I'm a touch type programmer and this keyboard is spot on.
