About this deal

This extruder is the result of hundreds of hours of development work and thousands of hours of testing. Sherpa Mini's signature lightweight design has been optimized even further bringing the weight down while improving stiffness. Making for the lightest FDM extruder on the market. Mine came with a long stepper extension cable, so I ran that up to the mainboard and shortened the stepper’s cable so they can be unplugged along with everything else to remove the effector. Install everything to the X-Carriage, secure with 2 M3x35 BHCS from the front and 1 M3x20 BHCS from the rear I agree it's confusing - but I'm hoping to add NZBGet in there at some point - so can't call it 'SABnzbd' anything. I'm using a volcano hotend with 0.8mm nozzle. Heating is not the problem, but the extruder runs much faster (4 times faster than with 0.4 nozzle) You can't achieve those speeds with 350mA.

Some of our products may be more expensive than others, but please believe in our quality and believe that you will not regret when you receive the goods. I installed the Sherpa Mini and adjusted the vref to 0.3V. The Sherpa Motor is getting still very hot! Issue: I ran the command wget https://goo.gl/Qot9QK -qO sherpa.tar.gz && tar -zxvf sherpa.tar.gz but got an error Add Spacers for strain-relief/umbilical plate, you may need to replace some screws to have enough thread to engage with the spacerspossibilities, overall from my perspective is not an optimum solution. I personally prefer a design in which everything is bolted The Mini-AfterSherpa is an alternate toolhead for Voron V0.1 and similar printers ( Micron, Flying Zero, Salad Fork, etc) that use the Mini-Afterburner-style X carriage. It offers flexibility and extruder choice with additional convenience. Features Direct-drive extruders As usual, after changing the extruder, it’s recommended to calibrate E steps and flow rate. Besides that, I also recommend calibrating Pressure Advance and Input Shaper to ensure that you get the most of your new Sherpa Mini Direct Drive extruder setup. Wrapping up Xmantium wrote:nzb-multi installer is a confusing name, think its best to put "Sabnzbd+ and Addons Installer" would be a better fit There are a variety of motors that should work. I don't know enough about the choices to make really good choices, but I have found that sometimes lower power motors are better for acceleration and jerk. (It has something to do with inductance, inertia, etc - but I'm not an electrical engineer so I don't quite follow the reasoning.)

I should be using washers on the Sherpa mounting bolts as you did. 🙂 I’ll add those next time I work on it. pulling a nylon PA12 filament tied to an analog weight gauge. Commanded extrusion at different speeds and noted the maximum weight indicated repeated three times for each acceleration level after which the sequence is repeated with increased Command "/opt/bin/python2.7 -u -c "import setuptools, tokenize;__file__='/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Entware-ng/tmp/pip-build-qbGM6r/sabyenc/setup.py';f=getattr(tokenize, 'open', open)(__file__);code=f.read().replace('For Dragon or Phaetus Dragonfly BMO, use the M2.5 bolts that came with the hotend. The following diagram will help determine which holes to use for your hotend. Oh. Nevermind, just saw the license on the Pitan. No derivatives? Really? For such an obvious copy of a commercial product? if you happen to have an Orbiter, Sherpa Mini or similar extruder and like to have more power, I can confirm that this motor pinion matches the BMG spur gear.
