Like most Paramount originals, nobody uses their failing streaming service. Excellent content like this is being missed by the masses. Such a shame... seamlessness and integrative depth. The show feels natural, flows well through the full character roster, and takes its time to develop both Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – Season One will be the first Star Trek franchise TV series released on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray. The 3-disc edition from Paramount Home Media arrives on June 13 and coincides with the premiere episode of Season Two on June 15, 2023. (See streaming shows on Paramount+.) One of the best new Trek shows in decades, Strange New Worlds Season 1 earns a glorious 3-disc 4K Dolby Vision release from Paramount just before Season 2 drops on Paramount+ in pretty-damn-far-from-4K.Overall, "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" is an excellent addition to the Star Trek franchise, delivering exciting action, thought-provoking ideas, and emotionally charged character development. That all jives with my understanding. At a minimum, 35 mm film should give you a great conversion to 4K UHD. Your feelings on how FC looked shows how important good projection was to the filmgoing experience. I can tell you that FC looked absolutely horrid in the theater when I saw it — to the point that it was the only TOS film I saw just a single time that way. Seeing it a year later on laserdisc made me reevaluate its aesthetics considerably (though I still didn’t actually ever like the movie till about 15 years ago.) By comparison, I only own maybe a dozen films and series on digital, mainly because I was having trouble finding them cheap and used on disk or they just plain weren’t available on disk, but I hate having to rely on that virtual streaming approach, given that somebody could just decide to alter the content at some point.above, filling the top third of the panel. The rear panel features the main characters in silhouette on an alien landscape with the same color scheme; it's left and discs two and three in offset hubs on the right. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features another alien landscape with the same color I do sometimes though look at my risk-taking parent’s life with a certain envy. They ended up doing some truly unexpected things, historic even. I’m still finding bits and pieces of their work as stuff gets added to various internet archives every year.
