About this deal

If I asked you to name a book about living in the woods, you might say Walden, Henry David Thoreau’s memoir of his time in a cabin in the woods by Walden Pond. You start this book knowing nothing about the main character, what happend, what she is running for. But believe me it all becomes perfectly clear in due time. And then I hope you'll like it just as much as I do, because I rated it 5 stars. And here is why: Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six is a psychological thriller about three couples who vacation in a luxury cabin in the woods of Georgia. With the threat of a hurricane, hidden motives come to light, affairs are revealed, and a dark secret is unearthed, culminating in murder. Betsy Sharkey of the Los Angeles Times believed that the film "is an inside joke" and also said, "The laughs [in the film] come easily, the screams not so much." [46] David Rooney of The Hollywood Reporter remarked, "It's just too bad the movie is never much more than a hollow exercise in self-reflexive cleverness that's not nearly as ingenious as it seems to think." [47]

The book started off wonderfully. The suspense is built up slowly but steadily, and it is soon clear that the story is going into some unforeseen directions. There is some foreshadowing but even that doesn’t spoil the surprises. Story Synopsis: (I meant what I said above. Go in blind. So here’s the most boring and blandest synopsis possible.) That blurb doesn’t match the story at all. It appears to promise a psychological thriller but the book is more like a domestic drama with a couple of thrilling scenes.Oh I couldn't put this down, it had me hooked by the throat and wouldn't let go, the story Is extremely well written and plotted, it's gritty and edgy with plenty of twists and turns, I really liked the character of Rose i instantly took her to my heart i was on her side the whole time, the setting in the woods gave it that dark isolated creepy feel, this book was nonstop drama I didn't want to put it down as I wanted to know what happen next.

The singing wilderness has to do with the calling of the loons, northern lights, and the great silences of a land lying northwest of Lake Superior”, Olson writes. “It is concerned with the simple joys, the timelessness and perspective found in a way of life that is close to the past. I have heard the singing in many places, but I seem to hear it best in the wilderness”.
