Battery performance is always subjective and depends on the type of batteries you use, the power you vape at and your vaping style. Because I usually vape at low(ish) watts, I opted to use my Sony VTC5A batteries, having a CDR value of 25A with a 2500mAh capacity. Because the Aegis X 200W mod uses dual 18650 batteries, I really would only ever charge my batteries using an external charger. If you do wish to charge your batteries in the mod, at least Geekvape have included two-cell battery active balanced charging as a feature. Overall, the Aegis X feels very solid and extremely well built. It oozes quality and despite its size, feels comfortable to hold. The ruggedness of the design certainly means it’ll withstand the toughest of challenges. Geekvape Cerberus Sub Ohm Tank | Design and AppearanceThe Cerberus sub ohm tank also comes color matched to the Aegis X mod. The e-liquid capacity of the Cerberus is 2ml (EU version), 4ml standard, or a 5.5ml bubble glass addition. Two coils are supplied with the Aegis X 200W kit but unfortunately both are the same type, the Mesh X1 KA1 0.2 ohm coil. Geekvape specify the wattage for this coil is between 30W–90W, but best at 60W-80W. Interestingly, the Vaporesso GT CCELL, GT mesh and the Smok Baby coils will also fit this tank. Geekvape Aegis X 200W Mod | Functionality Geekvape’s branding is kept to a minimum. Their name is printed into the top of the OLED display and the words ‘AEGIS’ are printed in white underneath the +/- buttons. While scrolling through the menus, depending on what function you have selected, a sub menu will be highlighted. The Aegis X 200W mod is powered by dual 18650 batteries. Although the manual touches on the menu settings, it’s a bit vague to say the least and it didn’t come all that easy to me. I would recommend before first use having a good play with the different menus before you fit the tank.The flavor sadly was not very pronounced and I was getting that new coil taste. It took a good tankful of e-liquid before that taste went and the flavor came through really crisp. A really good feature I found very useful are the 4 memory modes. These can be programmed with different modes and once you’ve set them up, you simply switch between them with your pre-set options being recalled.
