You must know, Child, you are fearfully and wonderfully made ( Psalm 139:14). I knit you together in your mother’s womb ( Psalm 139:13), and brought you forth on the day you were born ( Psalm 71:6). Take caution though, as I have been misrepresented by those who don’t know me ( John 8:41-44). I am not some distant and angry Father. Rather, I am near you always…with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). I am the complete expression of a loving Father (1 John 4:16), and it’s my deepest desire to lavish more love and grace on you (1 John 3:1). Every good gift comes from My hand (James 1:17). I am your provider and I will meet your every need through faith ( Matthew 6:31-33). My plan for your future is filled with purpose; an everlasting hope (Jeremiah 29:11), love, peace and joy (Jeremiah 31:3). My thoughts towards you are as countless as the seashore sand ( Psalm 139:17-18). I rejoice over you with singing ( Zephaniah 3:17) and I will never stop doing good to you (Jeremiah 32:40). Trust Me, trust My Words, trust that you are My treasured possession (Exodus 19:5). I desire to establish you with all my heart and all my soul (Jeremiah 32:41). I desire to show you great and marvelous things (Jeremiah 33:3). We cannot go through life without being hurt by others, so we should learn to forgive. Even more, we should practice demonstrating our forgiveness by our acts of lovingkindness. Look for opportunities to do both.

That’s just when God appeared to him as he was among the exiles by the Kebar River. Ezekiel looked up and saw remarkable visions of God—the throne of God surrounded by angelic beings. Amid the strange and apocalyptic vision described in Ezekiel 1, God called the thirty-year-old exile to be a powerful prophet. But I want you to know who I am; I don’t want to force you to come to me. I want you to see the truths of my word in your life and know, beyond any doubt, that I am your God and I will never forsake you.

Intimacy

When you are brokenhearted, I will draw close to you (Psalm 34:18) and cry with you (John 11:35). I’ll collect all your tears in my bottle and record each one in my book (Psalm 56:8). Like a shepherd holding his lamb, I’ll carry you close to my heart (Isaiah 40:11). I’ll comfort you in your time of sadness (Matthew 5:4), turning your mourning into gladness (Jeremiah 31:13) and your weakness into strength (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). I will put a happy new song in your mouth (Psalm 40:3) and give you a beautiful new name (Isaiah 62:2). All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

Love letter from GOD, for you - God Is Real

In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. Colossians 3:1 tells us to “seek those things which are above, where Christ is.” In verse 5 we’re told to put to death the passions that come from below—"fornication, uncleanness, passion, and evil desire.” Then the Lord added the sin of greed or covetousness to the list, calling it idolatry.Moses reminded the Israelites that God was taking them into a land of hills and valleys, of water and streams, “a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year” (Deuteronomy 11:11-12). You fall and make mistakes; you do things you regret. You know what it means to stand in the heat of temptation feelingrotten because of how strongly you are tempted by your lusts. You understand the feeling of dejection when you give in to temptation in a moment of weakness and when it feelslike things could never be made right again. You might have feltat one point that God is angry with you. You might even have doubted that you have received forgiveness.

But you’re not just my servant: you’re my friend! (John 15:15) More than that, you’re my beloved child! (1 John 3:1) You’re precious and honored in my sight (Isaiah 43:4), and I rejoice over you with singing! (Zephaniah 3:17). There are children’s Bible story books a plenty, but Glenys Nellist has taken a completely unique approach to sharing these Bible stories.” Is it not natural to suppose that as our dependence is greater, our attachment is stronger? I find in my own breast a sympathetic power always operating upon the near approach of letters from my dearest friend. I cannot determine the exact distance when this secret charm begins to operate. The time sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. The busy sylphs are ever at my ear, no sooner does Morpheus close my eyes, than “my whole soul, unbounded flies to thee.” I will never stop loving you. And as long as you seek forgiveness, as long as you repent, as long as you ask me to be in your heart and life and believe that my Son died for you—I will forever be within you—guiding you, filling you, moving you forward in hope and joy. You see I’ve loved you from the beginning, long before you loved me (1 John 4:19). I sent my son Jesus, the exact representation of my being (Hebrews 1:3), to die on the cross in your place (Romans 5:8), to take upon Himself the punishment that you deserved (Isaiah 53:5), and to take away your sin (John 1:29). For you the mighty Lion sacrificed his life as an innocent Lamb (Revelation 5:5-6). Through Jesus, I, your Lord and Master, have come to serve you! (John 13:13-14)

Transformation

How do you view yourself? With pride? With false humility? Or soberly and realistically according to the grace of God in your life? God has revealed himself through THE Word, his Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible is ultimately about him. Remember, the Pharisees had the Scriptures, but Jesus rebuked them because they’d missed the whole point: ‘You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me’ (John 5:39). So as we read Scripture, we are learning more about Jesus and encountering him. We will see his ways, his goodness, his love, his power, his glory and his purity. As we get to know him better, we will know more intimacy with him. We will know what he loves and what he hates. We also have been given the Spirit, the same Spirit that inspired the writers. With the Spirit of God dwelling within us, helping us to see Christ, who is the exact image of his father, we are taking part in a divine moment. We are on holy ground. Dearest, I was so happy driving with you last night to the station. I long to see you again—Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, three long days. Goodbye my darling, I feel there is no room for anyone but you in my heart—you fill every corner. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.
