A danger for those suffering from liver disease, epilepsy, brain injury or disease as well as pregnant women, nursing mothers. Consult your doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner if your symptoms worsen or if symptoms persist after using the product for 7 days, if shortness of breath, fever or bloody phlegm occur, if side effects listed in section 4 become serious or if side effects not listed in section 4 occur. Active ingredient: Each 5 ml of syrup contains 35 mg of extract (as dry extract) from ivy leaf ( Hedera helix L.) (5 – 7.5 : 1). If you take more than the recommended dose (more than three times the daily dose), you may experience nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting or feel excitable. In this case speak to your doctor, pharmacist or qualified healthcare practitioner and take this leaflet with you. If you forget to take this product In the event of persistent symptoms like fever, shortness of breath, or purulent or bloody expectancy, consult a doctor immediately. If you take significantly higher doses (more than three times the daily dose), you may experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and agitation.

Do not use it if you are allergic to ivy, sorbitol or any of the other ingredients in Prospan ® by Helixia ®.Take Prospan ® by Helixia ® for at least 1 week or longer depending on the nature and severity of your condition. Indications: Prospan® cough syrup is indicated for use in acute catarrh (inflammation) of the respiratory tract accompanied by coughing and the symptomatic treatment of chronic inflammatory bronchial diseases.

Prospan® Cough Syrup is a light brown, slightly cloudy syrup. It contains a plant extract as the active ingredient and its colour and taste can therefore occasionally vary. This, however, does not affect the quality of the preparation. Consult a healthcare professional if you have any side effects or if your symptoms persist or worsen. However, to get the best results from the treatment, you should carefully follow the instructions for use of the medicinal product. if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active ingredient, ivy leaf or to any of the excipients of Prospan® Cough Syrup (see section 6). May cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and/or abdominal and epigastric (in the upper middle part of the abdomen) pain in some patients.
