Upon accepting Islam, Safwan ibn Qudama(R.A.) said to Rasool Allah: 'O Messenger of Allah, I love you.'Prophet replied, 'A man is with the one he loves.'" (Tirmidhi)
One can generalize from the above mentioned statement that the same benefit may apply by taking the names of all three hundred and thirteen Sahaba (radhiyAllahu ‘anhum) who participated in the Battle of Badr.
