I was reminded of " The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" by Charlie Mackesy, as the approach is slightly similar – characters interacting with each other in a bond of love, friendship, support, acceptance, and encouragement. And on their journey through the ever-changing seasons, join these two friends as they learn how to live in the moment, be at peace with uncertainty, and find the strength to overcome life's obstacles, together. It is spring by the time they emerge - they'd gotten lost in the swirling mists and had fallen asleep under glittering stars.

Photograph: James Norbury Big Panda and Tiny Dragon features two friends who often find themselves lost but overcome life’s obstacles. Written during the covid pandemic, the book is a collection of the illustrations that author James Norbury shared on his site (BigPandaandTinyDragon. however, when flipping the book to the back cover, was dismay to find a sticker pasted across the barcode, what was worse is when the sticker was removed, it showed the book was for sale in the indian subcontinent only at 799 rupees vs 25SGD paid for.His next dream was to make money from writing books to start an animal sanctuary, but that too proved impossible, and every endeavour “came to zilch”. James Norbury has been living below the poverty line but now plans to ‘get a house with some land so I can start a sanctuary’. Feel the calming influence of Big Panda, who reminds us of the bigger picture while appreciating the simplicity of small moments. Misli, kojih je ova knjiga puna, trebalo bi uokviriti i staviti na vidljiva mjesta po prostorijama u kojima redovito boravimo. While they sit watching a warm sun rise, it dawns on them both that a new day means a new beginning, and another magnificent adventure awaits .

Exquisite' DR RANGAN CHATTERJEE ________ A guiding light in the darker months, Big Panda and Tiny Dragon is the beautifully illustrated and mindful journey of two friends through the seasons, inspired by Buddhist philosophy 'Which is more important,' asked Big Panda, 'the journey or the destination? We all have great wisdom deep down, but it can be a hushed voice and gets easily drowned out by modern living. There are some beautiful ideas covered such as the importance of living in the moment, the importance of helping others while helping yourself too, and the value of being a listener.Friends Big Panda and Tiny Dragon journey through the seasons of the year together, day and night, in rain and in sun. This felt nearly identical to The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy that I read and adored last year.

This book is nothing short of comforting and heartwarming' VEX KING 'While the drawings have the charm of Winnie-the-Pooh, the captions have the depth of ancient proverbs' GUARDIAN 'A beautifully illustrated book which draws on tender moments. Some people have even said they didn’t take their own lives because the pictures had given them new ways to look at things. this book is so sweet and beautiful and nothing i say in this review will ever do it justice, honestly.Discover the most beautiful book of the year as seen on ITV News and in the Guardian THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER 'James has a way to speak to your soul. One of the factors that really pushed this work forward was after I started volunteering on the phones for Samaritans talking to people who find it hard to cope with life. I discovered James Norbury's creation a while back on Instagram by complete coincidence (I'm not a huge fan of social media so I rarely use the app) but I fell in love with the cute illustrations right away. but this one is contained of a journey (the reasons or destinations, were not quite mentioned) with small inspiring quotes. Big Panda and Tiny Dragon is a great read for anyone, be they five, fifty-five, or one-hundred-and-five, and is a wonderful go-to gift that inspires similar feelings of love and appreciation to those conveyed in The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy in 2019, this reviewer’s other go-to gift book!
