These days, I take the seeker bikepacking and the flux thruhiking… and I never use the sawyer – just the befree, cleaning it out with 1:2 water to vinegar soak every so often (about 20mins seems to be optimal). This is not the most convenient way, but if you need to use the filter and you do not have time to purchase new bags, just grab any plastic bottle from your home and use it with the Sawyer Squeeze filter.
