What would’ve made it an exceptional build if they had included a Sirius Black head for the flames as a nod to this Goblet of Fire scene where Sirius chats to Harry in the flames. Nothing too fancy here, and it’s a break from the tradition of getting a Harry Potter minifigure on Day 1’s window like previous years. But I think the hairpiece is unique to this calendar and the clock tower so Lego must have done that on purpose.

The instructions are a little unclear, but you’re actually meant to slot the black flag with clips into the slot, to cover the fireplace.My first half table, the clear are really clear, but the second half are more opaque and have more of a yellow tinge. My opinions are mixed on the minifigures – the recycled minifigures from the Clock Tower set are a bit of a disappointment, I would’ve loved exclusive variants or prints.
