About this deal

We know immersive can be scary for some, but rest assured you can take part in the event as little or as much as you like!

Chinn uses a combination of police archives, newspaper articles and testimonies of those who lived in the neighbourhoods at the time to paint a picture of the real working-class Birmingham and its criminals. McNickle and Haynes were also arrested at the same time, for stealing a bicycle and home invasion, respectively. Even though their time was limited/they had smaller roles, it would have been fascinating to hear their thoughts.which probably makes me a better audience for this book than those who are attracted to it because they're great fans of the series and expected to find more of its events and characters confirmed in this nonfiction account of its inspiration.

Erau atât de fascinați de serial, atât de captivați de atmosferă, decor și personaje, încât m-au impulsionat să renunț la tot ce urmăream în acel moment pentru a mă rătăci neștiutoare pe străzile întunecate din Birmingham.

After some gangsters attacked a man in 1890, they sent a letter to various national newspapers declaring themselves as members of this specific group. The Official Companion Book has got everything you ever wanted to know from the world of Peaky Blinders: from insider info on the plots, the characters, and the making of the show, to expert knowledge on the history of Birmingham and the true stories that inspired the show. Their first activities primarily revolved around occupying favourable land, notably the communities of Small Heath and Cheapside, Birmingham. The book did not need to be as long as it was and was badly let down by its poor editing – in fact, I don’t think this book was proofread at all. Bring Tommy Shelby forward a few decades and you might be left with Terry Turbo, drug taking king of the rave scene.

Dressing up is all part of the fun, but not necessary… Come as you are – The Camden Garrison welcomes everyone! Even if the TV show counterparts share little more with the real figures than their names and vague ethnicities. Bright Young People looks at this avante-garde lifestyle that shock a generation of people out of its post-war reverie. The Blinders' dominance came about from beating rivals, including the "Sloggers" ("a pugilistic term for someone who could strike a heavy blow in the ring" [1]), whom they fought for territory in Birmingham and its surrounding districts. It’s missing the history but includes all the ultra-violence and gang warfare of The Peaky Blinders.

Pun intended--for those who don't understand, the Peaky Blinders had razor blades sewn into their caps. Aan de hand van politieverslagen, foto’s en tal van historische documenten toont hij ons dat de serie dikwijls een loopje neemt met de realiteit. You need only interact as much as you are comfortable to – if you prefer to observe from the side-lines, nobody will mind. Guests are invited to join the celebrations at the Shelby family meeting, where the music’s booming, the drinks are flowing and there’s important business to discuss.
