The Whale isn't best film of the year or anything but if you can make it past the first 2 minutes or so it's worth watching. The digital release will also feature several additional items that will make it worth purchasing, like People Are Amazing: Making The Whale, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the incredible film that saw the resurgence of the cultural icon and Brendan Fraser after a gap. It is another entry in the long list of "important" Hollywood films about an awkward social outcast whose personal misery is somehow supposed to be.
