It obviously brings things up to date by including tracks from the last three records, including ‘Life is Golden’, ‘It Starts And Ends With You’ and ‘Outsiders’. After a long and expensive recording span, A New Morning was released in 2002 and was a commercial and critical disappointment in the UK. Featuring one of new guitarist Richard Oakes' first guitar riffs, "Beautiful Ones" became one of Suede's more popular singles. This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. A reviewer from Music Week gave it four out of five, adding that "the familiar strains of Brett Anderson ride over this strong single".

Suede were formed in 1989 by singer Brett Anderson, bassist Mat Osman and guitarist Justine Frischmann. In November 2003, Suede released the compilation album Singles which included all 19 of their previously released singles, and also contained two new songs, " Attitude" (itself released as a single along with the non-album "Golden Gun" to promote the album) and "Love the Way You Love Me". It's OK, it's a nice video, it shows what we looked like at the time and captures some of the excitement of the song.Compiled by the band, this comprehensive four CD set features the huge 90s hits like “Metal Mickey”, “Animal Nitrate”, “Stay Together”, “Trash, “Filmstar”, “Lazy”, “Beautiful Ones”, “Saturday Night”, “Electricity”, “She’s In Fashion”, “Everything Will Flow” and “Can’t Get Enough”, along with favourite B-sides like “To The Birds”, “My Insatiable One” and “Killing Of A Flashboy”. The title was changed from "Dead Leg" to "The Beautiful Scum" but Anderson thought that "was a bit too marginal as a title. Suede became associated with the Britpop movement of the period and achieved commercial success throughout the United Kingdom, with three of the group's five studio albums charting at number one. It would not be until the release of their third single, " Animal Nitrate", that Suede would break into the top ten, with the song peaking at number seven following their performance of it at the 1993 BRIT Awards. She not only stayed alive, she turned her hard beginnings around, became self sufficient, successful and someone with respect for herself. In Sweden "Let Go", originally the B-side to "Can't Get Enough", was released as the A-side of the single instead of "Can't Get Enough". The video was directed by Pedro Romhanyi, who had filmed the clip for Suede's 1993 single, " Animal Nitrate.The only reason it was remade was to scoop up a boatload of money from a more modern and accepting audience. The collection brings the story up to date with sixteen tracks from the three recent albums, including “Life Is Golden”, “It Starts And Ends With You” and “Outsiders”. And the powerful spirit of a poor young girl being abandoned to her future with only a red dress and her wits to keep her alive. Since reforming in 2010, the band have issued three further albums with Night Thoughts (2016) and The Blue Hour (2018), in particular, scaling the artistic heights once more.
