About this deal

God the feels that came rushing at me, the love I felt consumed me, normally I’m not really a fan of second chance romances because you kind of know the layout of the story, past they break up, then they make up end of story, but this was done in such an outstanding way like pieces of a puzzle we’d be given pieces of their past that we’d make sense of to complete their future.

Like the H's relationship with his dad, the h's career/dreams, Serena, Cliff, and just their general future with balancing family life and his career (to name a few). She loves Jonathan but she knew where to draw the line on what is acceptable for her and on what she thinks is still right for them. deep down Kennedy still loved Jonathan, but she knew she couldn’t let him break her little girl’s heart.

lol* I could understand her reluctance to accept him back in her life, but I could also relate so much to Jonathan. As she stands there, staring at you, seeing the light in your eyes and feeling so much love in her heart, she would’ve done anything you asked. The thought makes her both terrified at the thought of him showing up again and fearful that he may have finally moved on and given up. And according to her you have to compliment your woman that she looks pretty and give her flowers otherwise you're not a good man.No, but he knew that she didn’t want Maddie to live with an addict and so he accepted her wishes to stay away from them. Having read many stories that alternate between time periods in such a manner, I know how difficult it can be for an author to pull this off without losing the reader along the way. The 6 years separation was heartbreaking because he was still an alcoholic and he didn't even saw his daughter for once.

He gave up EVERYTHING for this life, including his love of a girl that would do anything and everything for him. I’ll be Breezeo and Barbie can be Maryanne for you,” she says, sitting down on the floor and patting the wood beside her.I’m playing with fire, like I don’t remember how much it hurts to get burned, but from here, where I’m standing, all I can seem to feel is the warmth. She didn't get to follow her dream of becoming an author but she did everything for Jonathan just so he could follow his dream. Secondly, and more important to my mind of thinking, is how the past flows alongside the present like no other novel I’ve ever read.
