I had a positive surprise the first time I opened it – the EPOS Gaming Suite looks incredibly tidy, has a nice design for my taste and offers everything you need without being overloaded with functions. The frequency response on both the microphone and headphones are perfectly fine, though in comparison to their sister headset, the GSP 600, they definitely have a tighter range as the 600 goes up to 18,000 Hz and 30,000 Hz respectively on the microphone and headphones.
At a constant output of 75dB, we found the headset lasted for just over 16 and a half hours of playback—if you’re listening to the headset at a lower volume (or only using it on Bluetooth) you might fare even better. It would be nice to see benchmarks for some of the characteristics of these headsets rather than just subjective opinions and the manufacturer's specifications.The sound is fantastic, but the same is true of the cheaper, wired GSP 600 - and indeed much cheaper rivals from SteelSeries and HyperX. With a full equalizer, noise control settings, microphone tuning, surround sound settings and more, explore all possibilities and customize your sound to create your perfect audio experience. Listening to my lossless audio files was a treat even over the wireless, and that’s a great sign that Sennheiser is still on the top of their game. The reported battery life of 16 hours via the wireless dongle sounds like a fair estimation based on our testing; although, we haven't had our sample unit long enough to test how quickly that number degrades over time when it's had a few charges. The headset features surround sound using Sennheiser’s Gaming Suite app, which I couldn’t get to work until a recent software update—if you’ve got the GSP 670 and have struggled in the past, time to check in again.
Now my ears do not touch the internal wall and same thing with Eber, which is good, but when Mike tried them on at Computex, his ears made contact with the driver wall despite playing around with the size extensions and the pressure adjustment.
