About this deal

In Otto, or Up With Dead People, a young man dies and is reanimated as a zombie, only to discover that he is now attracted to men. Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis is a fungus which infects nearly all amphibian species. It spreads also due to forced sexual intercourse , and has the side effect of making the mating calls of male frogs more attractive to females. The fungus is invariably fatal and possesses no known cure or treatment. The symptoms include decayed skin, and failure of the immune system. McGowan, Jasmine (2012). "The thinking queer's pornographer: Bruce LaBruce, art/porn and the politics of cooptation". CineAction. 88: 66–69. a decent amount of profanity. One might even say gratuitous in nature. This includes everything Carlin said can't be said as well as several more. James J. Ward, a professor at Cedar Crest College, suggests that zombie porn's transgressions of the taboos against necrophilia and male viewers' fear of castration may be appealing for some. [19] At the same time, he argues that because zombie sex "raises the likelihood of" participants being literally destroyed, because zombies carry filth and disease, and because the zombie is ontologically blank—they have "no awareness and affect" and are driven by "the most primitive and carnal of all desires" (to eat)—zombie porn remains largely unappealing. [20] He concludes that zombie porn is neither new nor alluring. [21] Feminist philosopher Kelly Oliver writes that zombie porn, like snuff pornography, is a kind of "pseudo-necrophilia"—altogether similar to rape—that reflects some men's aggressive sexual attitudes. [22] The film Deadgirl (2008; sometimes labeled a kind of torture pornography), where a zombie woman is turned into a sex slave and repeatedly raped, is one example given by Oliver and horror researcher Steve Jones. In the 2012 horror-comedy, a Gothic employee of a mortuary performs lascivious acts with a cadaver on the operating table, who appears to enjoy the experience. However, it is later revealed that the three morticians present at the time had accidentally smoked marijuana laced with ecstasy, suggesting that the entire sequence may have been an hallucination. ISBN 9780786459124.This is a perfect movie to see cold, so I won't get into any plot details other than it involves a deadly STD virus that turns people into something much worse than a zombie. Based on the plot description, I thought I was going to see a movie in the same vein as Cabin Fever but it's much closer in spirit to Slither or Dead Alive (aka Braindead). I list those two movies because they have a similar sense of fun and taking the audience for a gory ride. Lots of gross-out moments are played for big laughs and you will want to see this with as many people as you can because that is part of the fun - hearing people react to what they just witnessed. Horrible things will happen, bodily fluids will fly, and your friends will shriek, squeal, and try to cover their eyes while laughing at the same time. McGlotten, Shaka; Vangundy, Sarah (2013). I don't recall whether this is rated R or Unrated, but it certainly should be the latter. The content is 100% adult and not meant for kids in any way, shape, or form. I don't think zombie movies are problematic for some kids to watch, but the sheer amount of sexual content and nudity in this film, not to mention the general plot, is for adults only.

Directed and co-written by Jonathan Straiton, this is not a movie that I'd recommend for the squeamish. Or the easily offended. Beyond the rampant gore and general mayhem, there's also a lot that is ready to upset nearly everyone: vaginas with teeth, masturbating zombies, zombie bukkake and more. So much more. I'd compare this movie to Night of the Creeps, if that movie had more sex.

Not knowing what to expect from this one I saw it was supposed to be a funny horror. Funny horrors mostly doesn't work out but there are exceptions like this one. Fix, Michael P. (2018). Lauro, Sarah Juliet (2016). " Zombies and Sexuality: Essays on Desire and the Living Dead". Science Fiction Film and Television. 9 (1): 137–142. this film is really bloody, has a pretty hefty amount of gore, and some straight up twisted grossness. Nothing that would necessarily make you vomit, but there were a couple of instances when I thought "omg...that's so wrong, and totally disgusting...I love it." While the fx aren't perfect, they're more than adequate; most are practical but there are a few examples of cgi. All in all, this is not a film for casual horror fans or for fans who can't deal with blood. In fact, this film is really only for those of us who are twisted enough to love exploitative sex, gore, and violence. It was the movie's cover/poster that initially caught my attention, and it looked very much like a 1980's horror movie. I read the synopsis and then decided to sit down and watch "Night of Something Strange". Second, the dialog isn't up there with "satire" or "this movie makes a farce of" kind of thing. The dialog is bad. It's stilted and ridiculous most of the time. Lines that are intended to sound cool are just terrible. Oh and folks get the mics in the right positions next time cause when you hear the echos from the actors that just makes it sound unprofessional.Let me just say that this movie stops being entertaining very early on. It is a chore to watch this to write a review. The storyline in "Night of Something Strange" turned out to be rather ridiculous, and it was really difficult to get into the groove of the movie and get immersed into the storyline. WAYNE W JOHNSON leads this Troop of Marvelous Young Acting Talent as "Cornelius", the Amorous Hospital Janitor, who is the first to succumb to the ravishing disease by indulging in the Charms of a Perfectly Proportioned Noxious "Female Corpse" portrayed by the Beautiful JENNIE RUSSO ! Wayne is Frightening as "Cornelius", but Brutally Terrifying when he becomes Zombified . His Facial Expressions are Priceless, even under all the make-up ! Normally I am a big zombie aficionado, but "Night of Something Strange" just was way too far out there, even for my liking. The acting in the movie was actually quite adequate, taking into consideration the budget of the movie and the type of movie that it is. So the acting talents actually did good jobs with the limitations imposed on them.

You won't hear me say that this was the best movie ever, but I have to admit that I had a real ball watching this grand guignol-like gore-fest. It's crude, it's totally incorrect, it's degrading women and obese people and gays and a whole lot more, and still it's absolutely hilarious, because it's all so obviously tongue-in-cheek! It's like eating a whole box of chocolates: you know it's bad, but it feels SO great, to me watching this movie was like one big guilty-pleasure road-trip! Grilli, Alessandro (2012). "Queering the dead: Gay zombies in the dark room". In Antosa, Silvia (ed.). Queer crossings: Theories, bodies, texts. Mimesis. ISBN 9788857509396. Zombies have many physical traits associated with being dead that make sexual behavior difficult, unlikely, or impossible. A recently turned zombie, (one that is not a rage zed,) would have a greater capacity for any intensive physical actions, including intercourse. After the onset of rigor mortis, this would become much more difficult. In addition, it is likely that in the rare instance where a zombie retains enough of its human characteristics to pursue sex, after a few days in temperate, warm, sub-tropical. tropical, or equatorial climates, the brain would have disintegrated to such an extent that any human instincts would be long gone. It is more plausible that a zombie would exhibit sexual behavior in cold climates, (lending credence to the documentation of Dead Snow.) Since zombies circulatory systems are not functional, it is unclear how male zombies would achieve arousal, if at all.AL LAWLER is Brilliant as the Motel Owner "Sunny", who along with his degenerate Family, BRIE STRAITON & BRETT JANESKI, bring another Dimension into the Story ! I don't know that anything in this film could be considered "intense" or scary. So much of it is tongue in cheek or ironic in nature that it's hard to take some of the "surprises" in such a serious way that they could be considered intense. Björnberg, Alf (2013). " Earogenous Zones: Sound, Sexuality and Cinema". Review. Popular Music. 32 (1): 135–137. doi: 10.1017/S0261143012000669. ISSN 0261-1430. JSTOR 23359891. S2CID 162314710. And let me just be the first to say that "Night of Something Strange" turned out to be something rather different than what I had expected. So for better or worse? Well, honestly, it was for the latter.
