The cap has the essence logo on top of it and the body has the color that should be the matched with the shade of the bullet I guess but they don't look the same at all so don't based it on that. While this lip liner may not have all the handy extras that drew us to the other options – sharpeners, twist-ups or fancy application brushes – it expertly nails the classic lip pencil in such a way we didn’t need anything else.It has also a cute sharpener at the end of the pencil which really works and the liner will look like brand new again everytime. I decided to try these from Essence since I saw someone talked about them and I was also curious to try their lipliners since I haven't bought any lipliner from this brand before. In addition to the retractable mine, the small sharpener at the end of the pencil ensures precision. It’s slightly larger than some other options, which made it easier to hold, and it even had a handy mini sharpener in its base to keep that tip nice and pointy.

Matte but not drying, our tester was impressed with the formula, and little transfer meant it lasted a good number of hours too. Make a mistake though, and you’ll have to start over, as its pigment is so strong it does stain the lips (or face, if you really go off track). This process took weeks, with dozens of options to get through, so whittling them down certainly wasn’t easy, which is why there are slightly more options than our usual round-ups. This is good nude shade, although a bit light for me but if you are lighter than me, it would look great on you for sure. Available in eight colours such as nude, red and pink, the waterproof lip liners offer the perfect match for various lipsticks.It didn’t last quite as long as some of the other options, but our tester got a good four hours’ worth of full colour before having to top up. Having multiple shades at your disposal enables endless possibilities when it comes to creating different lip looks for various occasions. When I started using them, I realized their value for my makeup especially when times I get a lighter/wrong shade of lipsticks so I can change the color of a lipstick with the help of these lipliners. The high-quality formula ensures that your lip color remains intact throughout the day without fading or feathering. Incredibly thin, this lip liner is expertly precise, but it did snap a couple of times, so be sure to be gentle.
